It was produced and directed by Eric Prytherch for Granada Television and broadcast on ITV between 1976 and 1977. The series ran for 2 series and 13 episodes in total before its cancellation.

Colonel Ralph Kruger and his army of US combat troops have come across the pond to help out during the Second World War, though when they arrive, Kruger's army immediately enjoys handing out at the bar.
2. Off Limits
Kruger decides to make the Balaclava Arms pub off limits to enlisted men.
3. Dear John
Kruger has started to notice that Pulaski has been off lately, so he assigns Rossi to find out why he's being acting different.
4. Open Day
Irving wants Kruger to be more keen on helping out the locals, just like the rest of the platoon. Irving decides to talk to Kruger to get him to change his mind.
5. Brooklyn's Uncle
Kruger thinks his men have been smuggling limey dames into the camp at night. Pulaski and the others try to hide it from Kruger.
6. Rossi Keeps His Cool
Chambers is throwing a League of Amity club, and he wants Kruger's army to join. Rossi and his mates have a hard time trying to keep there cool, especially Rossi.
7. The Liaison Committee
Kruger and his army have been told to communicate with Britishers. Kruger doesn't know how to get together with the British, but soon he comes up with an idea.
