1. Abandoned in Africa without money
The first episode of THE RACE begins in northern Africa. The participants are simultaneously abandoned in the narrow streets of Morocco and have to find their way out. Your goal is clear: Germany! But the participants have no idea what problems will await them during the journey. Who will be the first to reach Europe? THE RACE begins!
2. The only way to Europe
In the second episode of THE RACE, each participant tries to get a coveted ferry ticket in their own way. But the clock ticks tirelessly. The first groundbreaking decisions are made and while everyone is fighting for every single euro, the police suddenly become aware of one of the participants. Will all candidates make it to the ferry before sunset?
3. The first wrong decisions
Once they have arrived in Europe, the participants face the next difficult obstacles in the third episode of THE RACE. Rain and storms make it difficult to contact locals and tourists. As darkness falls, the participants are faced with the crucial question: Where will they spend the first night?
4. Strangers become friends
In the fourth episode of THE RACE, the participants struggle with the aftermath of the night, because it couldn't have been more different. While the weather shows no mercy, the five try to get a little closer to Germany. The patience of the participants is put to the test. Only one person enjoys the sunny side of life.
5. It doesn't work anymore
The five candidates work meticulously on their plan to reach the next big city. But for that they need one thing: money. The differences between joy and sorrow couldn't be greater until one candidate pulls the ripcord and makes a momentous decision.
6. The emergency phone rings
After night number two, the candidates start the day with new motivation. But as always, the weather makes life difficult for some candidates and drives them to the brink of despair. You still keep moving until a participant's emergency phone suddenly rings.
7. One mistake changes everything
The participants continue to fight bravely from city to city, always with the goal in mind. Despite the rain clouds, the mood is still high. But while the other participants are looking for a place to sleep, a lack of attention forces one participant to make an emotional decision.
8. The calm before the storm
The shock after the departure is deep. However, the other participants don't know anything about it and are heading for France. The day offers more surprises for them and gives them a little time for relaxation after a lot of hectic and rain. But how quickly will their smiles disappear again?
9. The cards are remixed
Participants take every opportunity to make up kilometers. New contacts provide a brief moment of serenity. But the uncertainty about the other participants drives them further and further towards Cologne. So much so that suddenly a participant can dream of victory.
10. The grand finale
The grand finale of "THE RACE". The fifth day should make the decision. Until the very end, the two candidates were in a close, neck-and-neck race. Will one of them be crowned the winner of "THE RACE" or will a smiling third party win in the end?
