Unemployed, staying with friends and looking for "swinging" work Jim's luck falters until he bumps into Lucy Simmons the fashion model again. With her contacts he's suddenly being interviewed for an advertising job he knows nothing about.

Jim gets a letter from ex-girlfriend Margaret telling him his old job is at the university is up for grabs again. He needs the money but does he need Margaret? Does Margaret need him?
7. Will Success Spoil Jim Dixon?
Jim secures an interview with a maker of salacious films for his publisher. But who is interviewing who for what and what will Jim do when he somehow finds himself working for said film-maker?
