Hisashi encounters a young man named Taiki engrossed in sketching at Yuigahama beach. Taiki stops sketching, laughing, and says, "It's just one of those days when things don't go well." Seeing this Hisashi begins to contemplate the meaning of "failure."

Jōchi-ji Temple is enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere. The rustling of bamboo leaves makes Hisashi stop in his tracks. Suddenly, the head priest, Jien appears out of nowhere and explains to Hisashi the meaning of the present moment.

It's nighttime in Kamakura. Kanako, whom he meets at a guesthouse, tells him that she takes a solo trip once a month. "When I'm alone, I can hear my own voice clearly," she says, and Hisashi (Yugo Kochi) quietly begins to listen to his own voice.
6. Chapter 3 Part 2
On the morning of the second day, Hisashi tops by a charming cafe. The owner, Okazaki has opened the shop in Kamakura as a second career. Hisashi begins to ponder Okazaki's outlook on life.
7. Final Chapter, Part 1
On his way to Kamakura Station, Hisashi reunites with Kazuko. Invited by Kazuko, he goes to a special place. The sight that unfolds before him leaves Hisashi breathless.
8. Final Chapter, Part 2
Having finished his journey and returned to his daily life, Hisashi approaches a planning meeting with renewed determination. Inside his open notebook are numerous words he jotted down during his travels. What did Hisashi discover in Kamakura?
