Requiem from the Darkness
Momosuke is a young man with a dream: to travel Japan and collect one hundred stories. He journeys from place to place, searching for tales of the paranormal and bizarre, hoping to collect tales to publish in his book. However, the calm of Momosuke's life soon is shattered by a chance meeting with three sinister beings: Mataichi the priest, Nagamimi the bird-caller, and the beautiful Ogin. Soon, Momosuke learns that there might be more to his newfound comrades than first meets the eye...

Momosuke responds to a supposed letter from his brother Gunhachiro sent to him while at Katabira Crossroads.
9. The Lone and Strange
Hearing about the murderous cutthroat Giamon of Inarizika, rumored to be a Kowai (a ghoul that can survive any fatality), Momosuke learns some of Ogin's past.
10. The Succubus
After arriving in town, Momosuke runs into a man and learns of the missing bride Shiragiku.
11. The Marine Spirits
Momosuke hasn't seen the Ongyou for months. When he asks Tsutaya if he's heard of any ghostly rumors lately, Tsutaya tells Momosuke that there are two he knows of, with one of them being the sea ghosts of Sanuki.
12. The Death Spirits of Seven Man Point, Part 1
Strange massacres have been occurring at Seven Man Point.
13. The Death Spirits of Seven Man Point, Part 2
After Ukon ends up captured by Danjo's servant Kaburagi, Momosuke infiltrates the dungeons in order to rescue him.
