Hye-ran, once Korea's top TV anchorwoman, is about to lose her position. To save it, she promises to bring new golf star Kevin Lee to the studio.

Kevin is Jae-yeong, Hye-ran's ex-lover whom she had dumped for having no prospects. Hye-ran loses her anchorwoman position to Ji-won.

Hye-ran keeps her anchorwoman position. She learns that she is a candidate to be the Presidential Spokesperson. Kevin plots revenge in Thailand.

To help Hye-ran with her Presidential Spokesperson chance, Tae-wook comes to Thailand. Kevin tells him that Hye-ran dumped him as his ex-girlfriend.

Detective Kang Gi-joon believes that Kevin has been murdered and orders an autopsy. Hye-ran is the prime suspect. Tae-wook decides to protect her.

Eun-ju finds a black box chip from Kevin. She sees someone on her laptop screen who shocks her. Hye-ran realises that Kevin had been protecting her.

Tae-wook agrees to defend Eun-ju against a charge after Hye-ran tells him to. Meanwhile, the police closes in on Hye-ran.

After watching the footage featuring Hye-ran, Eun-ju decides to take revenge. She's angered by Tae-wook for caring about Hye-ran despite everything.

Hye-ran is arrested for Kevin's murder and pleads her innocence. Tae-wook believes she is innocent. The newsroom is in chaos.

Released Hye-ran returns to the newsroom with new determination, planning with Ji-won to attack the prostitution site operated by Congressman Jeong.

Tae-wook discovers Hye-ran’s past. He visits the broadcast station and confesses his love for her. Ji-won tells Detective Kang to investigate Eun-ju.

Tae-wook, determined to defend Hye-ran in court, is attacked at her home. Detective Kang recognises Myung-woo as the suspect in another murder case.

Testimony from a witness in court puts Hye-ran in trouble. Until Ji-won remembers the fishy witness as a former principal who had sued their network.

Hye-ran is acquitted of murder. She and Tae-wook decide to embark on a new life when another corpse is discovered.

Hye-ran realises that Tae-wook was at the scene of Kevin’s death. Eun-ju realises that Myung-woo is the murderer of Kevin’s manager.

Tae-wook confesses everything. Eun-ju leaves, saying that everybody suffered because of Hye-ran. Myung-woo tells Hye-ran that nothing is her fault.
