Meteor Rain
A supplementary mini-series of the Meteor Garden series, which consists of three stand-alone episodes that happened at different times before, during, and after Meteor Garden. They are referred to as chapters focusing on each F4 member, except for Hua Ze Lei (Vic Chou). The series was broadcast on the free-to-air Chinese Television System (CTS) (華視) from September 2001 to January 2002 following the main series Meteor Garden, which was broadcast in April 2001. It was followed by the sequel Meteor Garden II, which was broadcast from 11 November to 25 December 2002.

Seasons & Episodes
1. Mei Zuo's Chapter
Mei Zuo meets a Japanese girl named Aisa, who pickpockets him. He threatens to take her to police, but begins to sympathize with her. Mei Zuo then promises to help her find her grandmother, whom he later learns has passed. Several days later, he finally breaks the news to her.
2. Xi Men's Chapter
Xiao You comes back from Canada for a few days to see Xi Men. He tells her about his first love, Xiao Geng, and their painful goodbye. Xiao You spends the next several days searching for the thing Xiao Geng wanted to show Xi Men. Once she finds it, he arrives just in time to see it.
3. Dao Ming Si's Chapter, Part 1
In high school, Dao Ming Si is wanted by the police after injuring a politician's son. He ignores his mother's advice to turn himself in and runs away. A mute girl Xin Xin finds him hurt on the beach. Her father takes Si in and he remains with them for several days.
4. Dao Ming Si's Chapter, Part 2
Ah Yuan reveals to Si that Xin Xin is not his real daughter and that he saved her from her abusive father. Si wishes to help them somehow, but is spotted by the police in the process. Ah Yuan flees with his daughter. After being released from the police, Si goes to meet Ah Yuan and Xin Xin.
