Mukundi and other villagers are tensed as there is again no water supply. The man who has come to see Sureeli for marriage, rejects her because she is dumb.

Mukundi starts his day with a fight with Indumati which spoils his mood. Pappu sneaks into Sureeli's room and starts flirting with her.

Everyone in Lapataganj is busy discussing the upcoming elections in the village. There arises a debate over whether or not the women in the village should cast a vote or not.

Pappu tells Guddu that he is scared of expressing his love for Sureeli. He decides to pen down his feelings in a letter. He goes around the village asking for a pen and paper.

People in Lapataganj are extremely happy to see that there is a new movie to watch. Indu insists Mukundi takes her to watch the movie whereas Pappu tries his best to take Sureeli for the movie.

The local theatre is overcrowded as everyone is too excited to watch the movie which is currently being shown. The theatre manager is devastated after the district collector gives an order to shut down the theatre permanently.

There are announcements made in the village about Malan Devi surrendering herself near the lake. Indu shows a lot of interest in this and asks Mukundi hundreds of questions regarding the same.

Most of the people in the village travel to watch Malan Devi's surrender. Indu wakes Mukundi up from his sleep, asking him to take her to watch the surrender. Mukundi ends up giving in when he learns that the entire village is going.

Seeing Indu trade chocolate to get her work done from their son, Mukundi opposes her act. Mukundi gets stuck between his two bosses as they mistreat him for disrespecting them.

Neta Pandey is disturbed after seeing a letter missing from his name outside his house. He begins to look for the person who is responsible for meddling with his name.

As Mukundi is lost in deep thoughts, people around him mistake him for having a toothache. Mukundi is in reality thinking whether he should take a casual leave from work or not.

Mukundi is kicked out of the ration shop when he asks for sugar. He is also threatened to not open his mouth, otherwise he will be beaten up.

Everyone in Lapataganj wonders why the minister is ashamed. Indu insists Mukundi takes her to see the ashamed minister. Many people go to visit the minister to find out why he is ashamed.

Indu gives Mukundi a task to keep the wheat out for drying as it is attacked by worms. Mishri assigns Kachua a similar task as a few of their food items have caught fungus.

The game of Kabaddi leaves Pappu seriously injured, leaving Sureeli extremely worried. Right when Sureeli is about to give Pappu a massage, Chotu mama stops her and starts massaging Pappu himself.

Pappu starts selecting eligible people to raise a Kabaddi team in Lapataganj which can compete against other strong teams. All the team members start training for Kabaddi.

As the Lapataganj team begins to play with their opposition which is the national team, their supporters begin to lose hope seeing them play. They try making a comeback but Guddu gets seriously injured.

The Lapataganj team loses the game on purpose as they did not want to defeat the national team as that would be a loss for them. The national kabaddi team asks people to support all sports along with cricket.

Indu cannot keep calm as her favorite actor, Ramesh Kumar's movie is being shown at the theatre. Mukundi is surprised seeing Indu go gaga over Ramesh Kumar as she sticks his posters in the house.

A man asks people in Lapataganj to help him with some money as his wallet has been robbed. They give him tips to beg for money so that he can buy a ticket to his destination.

Mukundi gets worried when a few bald men from the village tell him that even he is getting bald. Mukundi sees a dream where he has lost all his hair and Indu is leaving him forever.

Mukundi tells his friends that he has been chosen to deliver a speech on Gandhiji in Gujarat by the postal department. Even though Indu does not insist on taking her along, he wishes to take his family along with him.

Chotu finds a bag full of money but has to give it back to Police. Chotu is dignified by the politician for his deed. Pappu decides he also wants to feel respected and takes help from Bajrangbali.

The journalist enquires about the lost idol case. Police refuse to search the idol anymore. The villagers get busy to find the idol all over the area but Chotu takes away the credit.

Pappu makes notes for Sureeli to help her pass the exam. Mukundi borrows a phone to have a word with Indu. Pappu imagines him and Sureeli as Mukundi and Indu.

Chotu strikes at a dog mistakenly and injures it. Police arrest him for committing the crime and the Dog Minister takes over the case.

The villagers misjudge Chotu's sneeze as something dangerous to their health. What is the reason behind Chotu's sneeze? Is it a box full of spices or a life-threatening disease?

The village kids are playing in the ground and Mamaji gets hit on his head. Pappu and his friends start making fun of him. He also tells that he would have been very happy if Mamaji got injured badly and would celebrate by distributing sweets all over Lapataganj.

Chotu makes his bed and is ready to sleep. Mishri gets him milk, but then two orphaned kids come and ask for food. When Chotu does not give them his milk, they curse him. Later in the night, someone calls Mishri and she is shocked to witness it.

People go crazy as they witness Hanuman Ji drinking milk. Everybody comes in Hanumanganj and start worshipping him. Reporters come as they want to cover this astonishing story.

Amitabh enters Lapatanganj and all the villagers go crazy. Everyone gathers around him and holds him tightly so that he is unable to leave. Sureeli is a big fan and tries to shower her love for him.

Mastana Band artists are in Lapataganj in hope that they will get some customers. They play and entertain Pappu who keeps on telling them how bad they are as musicians. Later, they go on a hunt to find customers who want to get married.

Pappu and Gattu are coming back riding on the bicycle. But Pappu has a dream of owning a motorcycle and how he would impress everyone in Lapataganj. He starts dreaming of how famous he will be if he gets a motorcycle.

Pappu and Gattu find a visitor who falls on the ground suddenly. They tell everyone about this and everyone gets scared how to hide this body. Mukundi gets scared when he sees his father coming back.

Everyone in Lapataganj makes a plan to remove the body from their area. So they take him out of Lapataganj in a procession. But then suddenly, police enters Lapataganj. Will the police find out the truth?

Kachus is back in Lapataganj from his trip. Everyone in the area gets excited and gather around him. Mukundi asks Kachua about his journey and gets to know that Kachua had been to jail as well.

Kachua gets beaten by the opposition party. Mishri and Elija put ointment and asks Kachua to take rest. Mishri asks him what did he say such things that he got beaten so badly.

Mishri comes to a peepal tree to offer sweets to Vimla on her death anniversary. As soon as Mishri leaves, the sweets disappear. A few people in the neighborhood feel the presence of a ghost around them.

Vimla's ghost continues to haunt the entire village. Everyone is scared of Chotu mama as he starts speaking and acting like late Vimla. Chotu is made to sit through an exorcism by an exorcist.

Mishri and other villagers are worried seeing Chotu collapsed in the middle of the road. The entire day he acts really strange after seeing Vimla with a lantern in her hand, the previous day.

After getting ready in the morning, Kachua leaves for a walk in the village but feels ignored by the people. Due to loneliness, Kachua decides to get married leaving the villagers surprised.

Indu starts crying when Mukundi says no to her plea for taking her for a vacation. Mukundi tries to show Indu that he would be in debt if he takes her out, but his plan backfires on him.

Indu cannot keep calm seeing her mother, sister, and brother-in-law, who have come to pay her a surprise visit. Mukundi does not seem pleased seeing guests arrive in his house without any prior notice.

Mukundi is already sick of the guests, as they are causing him trouble every minute of the day. He later loses his calm when he finds out that his brother-in-law has been taking debt in his name.

Mukundi looks for ideas to kick the guests out of his house as they won't leave. Mukundi disguises himself as his father because Indu's mother hates him. He is shocked to see his father in front of him when he is dressed up as him.

While leaving for work, Mukundi falls into a manhole and hurts himself. He fights with the contractor for digging a manhole which might be dangerous for pedestrians. In the evening, Mukundi and Indu are extremely worried as Chukundi goes missing.

Mukundi goes crazy after hearing Chukundi talk from inside a big manhole. This becomes a matter of concern and as the media comes to cover the incident. After a lot of chaos, Chukundi is taken out of the manhole.

A fake note owned by Mukundi is circulated around the village before it reaches a policeman. Mukundi gets caught for producing fake currency but the real culprit is somebody else.

Mukundi and Indu get into an argument over who does more work throughout the day. After talking to his boss, Mukundi predicts that he is going to be fired soon. He decides to hide this news from his wife.

Mukundi is frightened after hearing people's stories after they have got fired from their jobs. He is relieved to find out that they have received a new consignment.

Mukundi craves for some pickle but is upset to find out that all the pickle in his house is over. Indu, with the help of Mishri, begins to prepare pickle and decides to surprise Mukundi.

A blood donation camp is set in Lapataganj which excites all the villagers. Indu is adamant about donating blood even though Mukundi is against it.

Mishri gets convinced to get Sureeli married to a dog, which according to the priest will clear the fault in her stars. Sureeli cries her eyes out when she finds out that she is going to get married to a dog.

Pappu picks up the dog Sureeli is getting married to, and once again asks Mishri if he can marry Sureeli. Pappu accepts the challenge of earning five thousand rupees in a week to get married to Sureeli.

A reward of five thousand rupees is announced to whoever rides a bicycle for five days straight. Pappu takes up the challenge to fulfill Mishri's condition for getting Sureeli married to Pappu.

Pappu is shocked to know that his drink was spiked by Chotu mama so that he fails to finish the challenge. Even after facing extreme troubles, Pappu does not give up.

While everyone falls asleep, Guddu runs behind Pappu providing him moral support. He finally finishes the challenge and wins the prize money. Mishri refuses to stand by her words after learning that Pappu spent the money on someone in need.

Mukundi's boss hands him over a box for delivery which he hides and keeps in his house. Indu gets her hands on the box and mistakes it for her birthday gift. Indu gets excited and distributes all the mangoes to the people in Lapataganj.

Mukundi is taken to the police station as he is the only witness to the cobbler and barber's fight. Pappu tries his best to see Sureeli but Mishri and Chotu always come in his way.

Guddu is put behind the bars when a policeman finds him wearing a fake uniform. When Guddu reveals that he was playing a cop to help Pappu, the policemen start looking for him.

Mukundi is rewarded with ten thousand rupees for being the most hardworking employee. Indu claims her right on the money and announces that she is going to buy a television set.

When Mukundi asks the villagers to pay for getting the TV repaired, all of them back off. Once the TV is repaired, he makes sure nobody gets to watch TV in his house and kicks everyone out.

Indu convinces Mishri to accompany her to watch a film. Even though Sureeli has exams the next day, Pappu takes her to the theatre with him. When Mishri sees Sureeli with Pappu, she beats him up.

While Sureeli writes her exam, Pappu and Guddu disguise as women and throw chits at her, so that she passes her exam. Sureeli clears her exam with distinction even though she refuses to cheat.

When Indu asks Mukundi to take her to the fair, he refuses. Pappu takes Sureeli to the fair so that they can enjoy together. Indu takes Chukundi to the fair with her and they have fun.

Indu is enthusiastic to get the elephant home, which she has won as a price at the fair. Mukundi is petrified thinking about how he would take care of the elephant.

A minister reaches Mukundi's house with cops to complain against the elephant. Sureeli is on cloud nine after Pappu surprises her with a new cellphone. Indu decides to plan a feast for all her fellow villagers.

People in Lapataganj are worried seeing the elephant lie motionless on the ground. They revive with joy when it wakes up in the morning. Indu cries her eyes out when the elephant is taken to the jungle in order to provide it with a safer life.

A drunk man from Lapataganj experiences a tree talking to him but nobody believes him. The man takes Pappu to the talking tree and even he is bewildered to see the tree talk.

Pappu takes Sureeli to the talking tree and it seems to understand everything Sureeli intends to say. Mukundi tells Pappu that the tree knows the questions to all the answers, as it was built where either a school or library used to be.

Even after waiting in the long queue, Mukundi and other fellow villagers fail to get groceries. Seeing inflation, Mukundi is anxious. With inflation, every other commodity's rates increase leaving the people of Lapataganj worried.

While Tamatarilal and Shakkarchand visit Netaji, the people of the Lapataganj also go to Netaji to get an answer from him. They ask him for his help as the grocery prices are going high.

Mukundi tries to recite Hanuman chaalisa in the morning while his wife, Indumati offers him breakfast. The residents of Lapataganj start to grow vegetables on their own.

Mishri is left baffled when she find Charusiya staring at the sky. Mukundi prepares for the upcoming rains. Guttu takes Pappu for a ride in his bicycle to see Sureeli.

Kacchua Chacha finds Indumati waiting for Mukundi's return outside her house. While Pappu and Guttu go in search of Mukundi, Pappu dreams of dancing in the rain with Sureeli.

An announcement is made in the village that the Minister is going to address everyone's concerns regarding water. The villagers decide to hand over their land to the government.

Jal Jal Prathap Sinha, the minister pretends not to recognize Mukundi. Mishri takes a ride, while Pappu dresses up as an Arab in the village. Indumati has prepared tea for Mukundi prior to him asking.

Mukundi and Elija find it difficult to carry a huge box outside the house. While Pappu tells Mukundi that he has to get tablets for his dad when asked for help, on his return he still finds him hanging around.

Residents of Lapataganj learn about the bomb in the market. Mukundi and Elija go to the police to inform them about the bomb. Mishri locks up Sureeli when she goes to confess her love to Pappu.

Mukundi leaves home for a few days on work. While Pappu goes to visit Sureeli, he learns that a boy's family is coming to see Sureeli. Pappu is upset and says if she can't be his, she can't be anyone else's.

Kachua Chacha wakes up in a cart and narrates an incident to Guddu. When the boy's family comes, Elija and the others mislead them to Indumati's house who pretends to be a crazy Sureeli.

Mishri and Indumati buy bangles from the seller. Chotu notices Kacchua Chacha making pots. Chotu brings some jalebis for Sureeli. Pappu shops for Sureeli, Indumati and Mishri.

Pappu breaks a pot that Mishri Mausi is carrying using a catapult. He buys samosas for Sureeli and goes to meet her. Chotu visits the doctor to get his mouth checked after having hot samosas.

Pappu gets on top of the house where Sureeli lives and sings a song for her. While Mishri spots him, he manages to escape. Mukundi narrates how he fell in love with Indumati.

Mukundi continues to narrate his love story. He tells them the hurdles that he had to overcome. Pappu buys some roses for Sureeli and sings for her. Mishri brings Police to take Pappu away.

Mukundi tells Pappu how he had to win a battle with the kabbadi men. One time he had to dress up in a burkha to watch Indumati sing and how he used to follow her places.

Indumati prays for Biji Pandey and makes laddoos for him so that he learns a lesson and studies well. Biji presents his L.L.B marksheet, after which his and Sureeli's wedding preparation begins.

Indu is upset that she is leaving Mukundi alone and Mishri assures to take care of him. A fortune-teller attempts to create illusion of a better tomorrow, in minds of the villagers.

Mukundi gets a duty to host a politician from a nearby district. The shrewd politician thereafter projects his unethical mannerisms.

A God-mans entry in Lapataganj gets Mukundi suspicious and he speaks up against it. The Baba in return, holds Mukundi responsible for the upcoming holocaust.

Mukundi explains to everyone that life is short and unpredictable which leaves an impact on their minds. Mishra wants Sureeli to get married to Pappu and Indu's father arrives at Lapataganj.

Mukundi gets an offer to fly to Mumbai and whole Lapataganj starts prepping for his departure. Indu demands to go along and Pappu gifts him an outfit.

Mukundi is shocked to find Indu's interest in religious methods. Mishri, Chotu, and Elija start doubting about Mukundi's intention.

On the occasion of Mukundi's promotion, Lapatganj prepares to celebrate together and Mishri cooks and worships for him. Pappu gifts a scooter to Mukundi but there is more to it.

Indu cries about Mukundi's transfer from Lapataganj. The whole village gradually decides to move out one by one after hearing the news.

A laundryman from America visits his village, Lapataganj. Pappu is impressed by the man's get-up and way of life and wishes the same for himself in the future.

Guddu motivates Pappu more towards his aim. Kachua slaps Pappu and explains him about his misdeeds. Police arrive in search of Chunmun Chaubey.

Chotu keeps bragging about his father always, so Mishri shows their father's pyjama to him. Chotu gives the pyjama to Elija to adjust it according to his size and there starts the drama.

Kachua gifts Indu and Mishri two sarees, but both choose the same one. Mishri gets the saree but Indu starts competing on every note with her.

As Kachua is painting a few pots, there is an announcement for an art competition with a reward of one lakh for the winner. The villagers force Kachua to take part in the competition.

S01E169

To teach Pappu a lesson, Kachua, and other villagers act as Britishers and turn Lapataganj into a colony. Pappu realizes what sacrifices the freedom fighters would have made and apologizes to everyone in the village.

Mukundi suggests his fellow villagers that this time, they should choose their leader by asking them a few questions. They surround a contesting man and ask him five questions.

When Mishri goes to wake Mukundi up with a cup of tea, he tells her that he is not feeling too well. Chotu mama calls a doctor who tells that Mukundi is down with a fever.

Mukundi is worried after he receives an invitation for Indu's sister's wedding. He wonders how he can eliminate the extra expenditure for the upcoming wedding.

Everyone is excited for the upcoming festival of Rakshabandhan. Sureeli overhears Chotu mama talk about Sureeli tying a rakhi on Pappu's wrist.

To keep Sureeli from tying a rakhi on his wrist, Pappu lands Chotu in a fight with Mishri. Later, he takes up the responsibility to resolve their fight, so that they spend a memorable Rakshabandhan together.

Mukundi receives a letter from an unknown sender which says that they would be coming soon to collect their money. After he reads out the letter in front of all the villagers, they start wondering who is the sender and who is it addressed to.

Pappu guesses that the letter was addressed to Chotu mama concerning Sureeli's marriage. He blames mama for trying to get Sureeli married to a man who has been already married twice.

Indu is upset as she will not have Chukundi to dress up as Lord Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami. Mukundi cheers her up and the entire village starts prepping for the festival.

Lapataganj seems different on Independence Day as they get water supply. The villagers with a patriotic mind, celebrate independence, followed by various events.

As the villagers devote themselves to praying to Lord Krishna, they are extremely happy when it starts pouring. Chotu mama experiences intuitions of his own death.

Sureeli's classmates keep bullying her speech impairment. The bicycle competition is announced in Lapataganj and Sureeli starts preparing for it.

Pappu and Guddu arrange a bicycle for Sureeli but Chotu takes the credit. The villagers get busy in training Sureeli to ride a bicycle.

Sureeli keeps up her training, even with her injury. The slow bicycle race commences but Sureeli's bicycle chain drops in between.

Sureeli gets another chance and will represent her college in the race. Another contestant kicks Sureeli down from her bicycle while the competition is going on.

Pappu and Guddu motivate and Sureeli completes the race. Mukundi brings back Pappu's cycle and finally Mishri thanks Pappu for getting her daughter the cycle. Pappu insults Mukundi for using an old bicycle.

Mishri consoles Indu, who is upset about Mukundi buying a scooter. Mukundi and Indu go out for a ride but suddenly the scooter stops working.

Mukundi is over-attached to his scooter which infuriates Indu. The villagers give their own opinion and dismantle Mukundi's scooter as it's not working.

Mishri eagerly waits for her husband to return from Mumbai. Kachua is in trauma to hear about Putani's return to Lapataganj. Chotu reveals a news, and everyone is shocked.

Mishri faints on her husband arrival at Lapataganj. Putani's accent astonishes the villagers and they keep on muttering the same way. Putani raises a wave of mixed emotions in Lapataganj.

Kachua is upset as Putani is going to stay for sometime now. Mishri pursues Putani for fixing Sureeli's marriage. Sureeli reads Putani's retrenchment letter.

People in Lapataganj are devoted to praying to Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi. Later, they discuss what they would ask for as a wish from Lord Ganesh.

Mukundi leaves home in a hurry as an officer is coming to his workplace for an evaluation. Chotu mama plays a prank on Pappu as he believes mama when he says that Sureeli is alone at home.

Pappu is upset that Sureeli has left the town without informing him and misses her all day. Mukundi is scared to tell Indu to change the menu for dinner as he has already handed her over a list of items to be made in advance.

Suttilal receives a legal notice after he gives Pappu sweets full of ants. He blames Chotu mama for his situation as mama had asked him to do so.

Elija is on cloud nine as his brother comes to pay him a visit in Lapataganj. He decides to take his brother to see all his friends in the village.

Mukundilal struggles to get his wife's clothes stitched, as Elija the Tailor refuses to work because all he wants to do is relax, eat, and get fat.

Mishri starts cleaning her house well in advance, so that her house appears to be the tidiest one in Lapataganj. Indu claims to have the most organized house and gets into a fight with Mishri.

To prove Mishri wrong, Indu makes Mukundi immaculate their house with her. Mukundi is upset as he has been missing work from the past two days.

Chotu mama gets excited after Mishri asks him to get married. She asks him to find a job before getting married. He starts looking for work around Lapataganj.

Lapataganj is stormed by Chotu's lottery ticket but the problem is he has misplaced it. United by sharing the profit, the villagers get busy searching Chotu's pyjama which has the ticket.

Sureeli is back to Lapataganj, Pappu is exhilarated to see her. Meanwhile, Mishri and Chotu plan to get Sureeli married off. Indu is annoyed with Mukundi as he keeps her waiting. Chotu gets fooled by the duo while patroling Sureeli.

Sureeli tries to convince Mishri about Pappu's positive aspects. Mukundi advises his colleague on marital life. Mishri breaks down as she can't find Chotu.

Pappu plans to elope with Sureeli and asks money from Guddu. Later on, Pappu and Guddu try to influence Indu against Mishri.

A mysterious bow is found in Lapataganj and everyone tries to guess its origin. The politician takes donation from the villagers for Ramleela. Villagers start planning the characters they are going to play and get too involved in it.

Amidst the ongoing celebration, Lapataganj is in a jovial mood. When the play is about to commence, and villagers start demanding the presence of Ram's character, Mukundi goes missing.

Villagers donate money for witnessing the bow breaking incident. Chotu tells it was his deed so he deserves all the money. After a lot of altercation, the Ramayan performance starts.

Chotu complains to Mukundi for improving his performance. The villagers get worked-up on hearing that Pappu and Guddu got arrested in a nearby village.

People in Lapataganj take part in Ramleela where Mukundi plays Lord Ram, Indu plays Sita and Pappu plays Lakshman. All the villagers come to see the play.

Mishri playing Surpnakha is against Pappu getting to cut her nose, but gives in eventually. All the actors are happy as they successfully entertain the audience.

Indu, Mishri and other women lose their calm as a holyman claims to double their gold. Without them realizing, the con man escapes with all their gold.

To teach Chotu mama a lesson, Pappu and Guddu pick him up with his cot and place them in the middle of the road. The villagers try their best but fail to wake Chotu up from his sleep.

When Chotu mama starts talking a lot, Pappu asks him to shut up. The villagers rehearse for the last scene of the Ramleela, which finally comes to an end after burning the Ravanas statue.

People in Lapataganj analyse the Ramleela they presented. Chotu mama and Pappu have a green chilly eating competition in front of the entire village.

Pappu plans to teach Chotu mama a lesson but his plan backfires on him. Chotu calls the cops on Pappu and the cops beat Pappu up.

Sureeli hands over her award to another girl, as she cheated at the singing competition. Mishri is furious after knowing that Sureeli was lip-syncing to a song playing on the tape recorder.

Elija returns to Lapataganj with his aunt who thinks he owns the entire village. She goes around the village believing everyone is there to serve her.

Mukundi is sick and tired of doing the household chores as Indu has gone to her parent's house. When the villagers come to help Mukundi, he is reluctant.

Mukundi's family starts staying in his house without any notice and he mistakes his brother-in-law for a thief. Mukundi is taken aback when he informs him that he has got a transfer in Lapataganj and that he would stay with them henceforth.

A woman comes to Lapataganj asking for Mukundi claiming to be his wife. Even though Mukundi turns down all her allegations, she refuses to leave him.

As Mukundi steps out of the house in the night, Bhanumati opens Indu's cupboard and takes all her jewellery. Mukundi sees this and decides to let her reality be known.

People in Lapataganj are surprised to see Kachua after very long. When Chotu mama spreads baseless rumours about Kachua, he is furious. He starts beating him up in from of all the villagers.

Kachua is adamant about changing his name to get rid of all his problems. The villagers try to change his decision but in vain, even after Chotu apologizes to him.

When Chotu mama shares his unreasonable dream with his fellow villagers, they laugh at him. A millionaire comes looking for Pappu which gains everyone's attention.

Mishri and Chotu make Sureeli believe that Pappu is going to get married to another girl. The man from the city is so desperate to get his daughter married to Pappu, that he does not think twice before buying him.

People in Lapataganj are behind Chotu to get a job, but he is reluctant towards their wish. Mishri makes it clear that she can't take care of him anymore as he does not earn any money.

Learning that Lapataganj would soon have an electric supply, Chotu decides to learn the work of an electrician. Trying to fix things, he creates trouble for the people in Lapataganj.

The postman at Mukundi's workplace while getting retired, tells him that there are a lot of letters which are still undelivered. Mukundi is anxious thinking when would Indu return.

Mukundi starts crying after reading Indu's letter which says that she would never come back. The entire village is worried after this news spreads and starts giving Mukundi suggestions on how to get her back.

Chotu mama tells his fellow villagers that he is leaving for Golganj to get his niece, Suman to Lapataganj. Sureeli and Mishri are extremely happy to receive Suman.

Chotu fixes Sureeli's marriage to Prem Babu, who is actually Suman's lover. But Sureeli is adamant about marrying Pappu. Mishri catches Sureeli making the lovebirds meet.

Suman sends Prem Babu a letter through Sureeli, which Pappu perceives differently. Chotu and Mishri await Prem Babu but he is nowhere to be found.

Lapataganj's new Development Officer arrives and starts enquiring about the residents. Kanyakumari and Mukundi were college lovers. Mukundi suggests Suttilal the ways to save his shop.

Mukundi's efforts bring colours to Suttilal's life. Kanyakumari and her assistants evade the situation once the journalists intervene.

A minister comes to visit Suttilal and threatens him for going on a hunger strike. Different businessmen meet Suttilal to sell their products.

Mukundi explains his plan to the villagers to get rid of the media. The villagers plot that Suttilal is a thief and Pappu adds up to their drama.

Mukundilal rejoices as his beloved wife Indumati, finally returns home after spending time at her parents' house.

Indu is tensed about Kanyakumari's growing closeness to Mukundi. Mukundi comes home late daily, which adds up to Indu's doubts. What will happen when Indu finds Mukundi with Kanyakumari?

Indu decides to go back to her mother's place on finding Mukundi returning home in Kanyakumari's car. The villagers try to convince Indu but its too late already.

Elija takes Chotu's criticism too hard, and gets sensitive about being unmarried. Kanyakumari is annoyed to hear about Indu from Mukundi. Elija beats the drums and swears about getting married in front of the villagers.

Sweety enters Lapataganj and asks Elija to help her out. Elija challenges Chotu that he will get married soon. Guddu is called upon by Elija for advices but Chotu has already manipulated Guddu.

Elija dresses up in mismatched clothes to impress a girl he has set his eyes on. He intends to get married to her and goes behind wooing her.

Mishri dreams about Chotu getting bashed due to his antics and her religious Baba confirms that will happen. Chotu doesn't bother about any of the superstition and goes out to only realize that it turned to be true. Indu saw a terrible dream at the same hour as Mishris, will that also be true?

Indu is scared and does everything she can for her family to remember her. Guddu lies to Mishri and takes Pappu to feed Sureeli. Chotu stops the lovebirds and snatches away the jalebis.

Indu calls Eliza over and makes him wear numerous rakhis. Indu and Mukundi invite Kanyakumari for dinner but Chukundi ruins the mood.

Pappu gifts a few bangles to Sureeli and gets caught thereafter. Indu plans that her sister, Bindwasini, is ideal for Mukundi and tries to push them for going for a movie.

Indu finally reveals everything to her sister, Bindumati. Mukundi has a nightmare about Pappu getting badly attacked and so Indu goes to alert him.

Indu is in a hurry to send off Bindwasini home, but Mukundi's statement shocks everyone. The Lapataganj is united once again to help one of their residents.

Chotu amuses the crowd with his father's story. Kachua is back in Lapataganj but nobody is ready to listen to him. So Chotu suggests Kachua newer ways to gain his importance back.

Kachhua Prasad slaps a Government official after mistaking him for a roadside romeo and immediately regrets it when the officer reveals his identity.

Kachua slapped Manchale Yadav and has made things hard for himself. The villagers seek help from Lallan but he refuses to help.

The villagers try to convince Kachua for apologising to the government officer but he denies to accept his mistake at all. Lapataganj will be added to a highway and there is no scope for development.

Pappu keeps hiding and running from his family to avoid meeting a girl named Duniya. Pappu chooses Guddu as the ideal alternative to send for the date. Duniya likes Guddu and selects him as her prospective husband.

Chuniya, Duniya's father arrives at Lapataganj to meet Guddu. Pappu is upset to know Duniya has chosen Guddu. Lapataganj gets engrossed in Guddu's celebration.

While Lapataganj is celebrating Guddu's haldi, Chuniya Dubey brings a better proposal for Guddu's future. Pappu and Guddu get emotional for this new step.

The villagers convince Guddu that Lapataganj will always be his. Guddu and Duniya make a perfect couple, but Pappu tries to tease them by getting in between. Lapataganj is heartbroken to witness Guddu's farewell.

Pappu is in depression as he still feels Guddu is in Lapataganj. Sureeli goes to another village with her mother. The villagers worry about Guddu's condition, when Guddu arrives at Lapataganj.

Duniya stands in between of Guddu and Pappu. Chotu finds his father's things in the safe and show it off to the villagers. While Lapataganj celebrates their father's birthday, Chotu takes up a challenge.

Chotu is worked up to accept this challenge of showing his fathers photograph. Suttilal, Chaurasia and Elija tries to convince him but that starts a new problem.

Chotu decides to sketch his father's picture. Mukundi prepares food while Chotu chats with him. The artist who arrives is a professional sketch artist for Police.

The people in Lapatganj are in shock to see Chotu mama's picture in the newspaper, saying he is no more. During a prayer service, Chotu's presence scares everyone.

Chotu mama goes in search for members for the army from Lapataganj. Lallu's return after 6 years excites everyone. Chaurasiya narrates the incident of how Lallu left the village.

Lallu returns to Lapataganj after 6 years. His arrival brings tears in their eyes as he is injured. They all celebrate Lallu's return in Lapataganj, before which he shares his experience.

A celebration takes place in Lapataganj for Lallu's return and the minister promises him a license for putting up a petrol bunk. Lallu visits the collector along with Mukundi.

An announcement goes around in Lapataganj of a new movie. Indumati tries to convince Mukundi to take her. Guddu and his wife, Duniya too, go to watch the new movie.

S01E266

Mukundi, Guddu, and Lallan are put outside the house, as they do not agree to go with their wives for a honeymoon. Chotu brings a smile on Surili's face and makes her laugh.

Bindu, Indumati and Duniya discuss their honeymoon fantasies. Sutti Lal is upset as his wife, Mircha as she is forcing him to take her for the honeymoon.

All the couples are excited as they are finally going for the honeymoon. They discuss the places to visit. Duniya's father lends some money to Guddu to take Duniya for the honeymoon.

Everyone waits for Thota Ram who has planned the Honeymoon trip. A bus arrives to take everyone to the honeymoon resort. They all have a fun time during the bus journey.

Mircha begins to weep as she has left behind her hen in the food joint that they had stopped at. Pappu returns to Lapataganj and wonders where everyone are. All of them arrive at the resort.

Elija has his eyes on the receptionist at the resort. The manager takes them around the resort. They all get into the pool and have a bonfire night at the end of the day.

As all the couples are having a good time, Elija gets slapped by the receptionist after reading his letter. While Pappu is en route to honeymoon resort, Surili misses him.

Elija sarcastically explains to Chotu about his conversation with the receptionist. When Surili notices all the couples having a good time, she misses Pappu even more.

Pappu reaches the honeymoon resort and Surili is also found. Everyone leaves to return to Lapataganj. Surili and Pappu have a moment together before the others return.

Biji Pandey finally clears his LLB exam and becomes a lawyer, but no one in his neighbourhood takes him seriously. An upset Biji decides to change his ways and bring an element of 'Dabangayi' in his attitude.

Indu and Duniya try to convince Mishri mausi to get Surili married to Pappu. Pappu later dressed up in police uniform arrives in Lapataganj trying to convince Mishri mausi.

Pappu takes Surili with him to distribute money. The actual police come to catch hold of Pappu. He then confesses the truth saying he was testing everyone's belief.

Mishri mausi shows off her new golden bangles. Indumati cries to Mukundi, because he hasn't bought her any bangles. Mausi plans to get Surili married to Suresh.

Mukundi visits the jewellery store with Indumati to buy bangles for her. Pappu buys colourful bangles for Surili and goes to meet her, the minute Mausi and Chotu leave the house.

Indumati calls for a get together to show everyone the bangles she bought. Since Indumati has bought golden bangles, Bindu tries to convince her husband to buy bangles for her as well.

The jewellery store manager comes in search of Mukundi to collect money. Surili too asks Pappu to buy bangles for her. Bindu is excited as her husband arranges for money to buy bangles.

Mukundi hides from Muneemji. Lallan and Bindu visit Indumati and Mukundi at night. Mishri mausi makes besan laddu for everyone. Mukundi is at the jewellery store again.

Mukundi is worried thinking about Bindu's money and the bangles. Bindu is excited thinking about her bangles. Before Mukundi returns, everyone is already celebrating for Bindu's joy.

Everyone is shocked as Mukundi doesn't get the bangles. Bindu says that Indumati is jealous of her and leaves. Indu is shocked to find money in her cupboard that Mukundi had kept.

The ladies in Lapataganj are sad over Indu and BIndu's split up. Sureeli is forced to see a man for her wedding but Pappu intervenes.

Indu makes a big blunder by giving Mukundi's office money to Bindu. Indu cries her eyes out, as Mukundi is nowhere to be seen and spends a sleepless night.

Indu in front of Lord Hanuman pleadges that she will not eat or drink anything until Mukundi returns home. Even though her fellow villagers try to make her eat something, she stands by her decision.

Pappu and Guddu stick a one rupee coin on Chotu mama's forehead while he is asleep. They later tell him that if the coin sticks for one day, he would become a millionaire.

As soon as Mishri agrees to get Chotu married, he tries talking to Chameli. Chotu goes to extremes to impress Chamelii but Mishri refuses to take things forward until Chotu finds a job.

Chotu mama goes around the village asking people what work he should be doing. Chotu demands money from Mishri to run a business.

Mama earns for the first time. He sends Surili to tell his mother to look for a suitable person to get married to. Mama's mother decides to meet Lalaji to discuss the same.

The people of Lapataganj get ready to celebrate Holi. Mama Ji dreams of being a part of the unique Holi celebration with the person he loves.

People in Lapataganj celebrate the festival of colors with great joy and enthusiasm. Everyone thinks Chameli is angry at Chotu for throwing colors at her, but she reveals that she loved it.

The men in Lapataganj regreat getting a body massage from wrestlers instead of enjoying it. Chotu and Pappu shake hands and promise to not intervene in each other's marriage.

Chotu mama is upset as he does not want Sureeli to miss his wedding. Chotu mama is left heartbroken, when he sees another man getting married to Chameli.

Chameli talks to Chotu mama for one last time, before departing from Lapataganj. Before she leaves, she asks Chotu to sing a song in front of everyone.

Indu wonders if Mukundi has stopped loving her as much as he used to. She starts testing his love for her and her belief becomes stronger when he refuses to call in sick for work.

Seeing Indu doubt his love for her, Mukundi gives in to all her wishes. They get into a fight at the theatre, followed by a few more fights.

Indu asks Mukundi to wrestle with a strong wrestler to prove his love for her. Chukundi tells Mukundi that Indu is planning to leave the house if he does not agree for wrestling.

Indu announces that Mukundi will be wrestling a sumo in front of everyone in Lapataganj. Mukundi applies for a two months leave at work, thinking he would definitely break his bones.

People in Lapataganj prepare Mukundi for the fight but he starts panicking. Mukundi loses all his confidence seeing the wrestler and is unable to accept the reality.

Mukundi loses the wrestling match but wins in his test of love. Indu and Mukundi exchange gifts and share their journey of love.

Bindu and Lallan fight over a tie and the question of gentleman arises. Two suited men arrive at Lapataganj and they only find Lallan as a gentleman.

The whole village starts wearing ties as to feel like a gentleman. Even Mukundi suits up in a blazer and tie and Indu is shocked to see him.

Pappu is excited to have Sureeli back at Lapataganj. Sureeli starts fasting for a day on the suggestion of a Baba, when she hears that Pappu is going to see another woman.

Mishri prepares Sureeli's favourite food to break her fasting, but she still refrains from having any food. Elija collapses when Chotu slaps him assuming it is Pappu.

Mishri and Sureeli finally end their fasting when their town hall clock strikes six but Chotu reveals that the clock was forwarded only to break their fasting. Sureeli starts dancing in front of Lord Shiva in despair.

The whole village gathers to feed Sureeli as she denies in anger. Chotu plays a new trick to make Sureeli have her food but fails miserably.

Sureeli gets weak without taking any food, even after Mishri's and Chotu's several tries. Mukundi insults Chotu, when he is having food at Suttilal. Lapataganj sits down together to fast till Sureeli doesn't break hers.

A doctor comes to check Sureeli's state and suggests a few remedies. Mukundi finally succeeds in convincing Sureeli to have food for Chukundi's sake.

Mircha finishes all the food at her husband, Suttilal's shop. Pappu teases Sureeli for fasting so long. Elija catches the wrong man thinking as thief and now his life is in danger.

Elija hides behinds the bars by slapping a constable, but is announced the winner at a local level tailoring contest. Ghamshyampur's residents get Elija out on bail for bashing him, but Mukundi and Chotu get stuck with them.

Elija again slaps a constable for hiding in jail. The Thakur brothers dress up differently to search for Elija. One of them falls for Sureeli and Guddu overhears him. Mukundi catches one of them dressed as a postman.

Thakur brothers fail to find Elija and Lapataganj residents feel relieved. Mukundi suggests everyone to stay alert. The brothers plot another way to attack Elija.

Mama Ji tries to bail Elija out of jail. Later, a lawyer reaches the police station and bails Elija out. Who sent the lawyer?

Chotu plans to escape from Lapataganj till this trouble evades. Mukundi is in deep thoughts to find out a solution for Elija. Mukundi manages to convince the older Thakur and he forgives Elija but the brothers don't.

Mukundi struggles to get Chukundi ready and Sugandhi arrives. Chukundi reads a letter for Mukundi from his friend. Mukundi makes arrangement and the whole village awaits Prasanna.

Prasanna's entry is enjoyed by the villagers, even Chukundi appears really smart to him. Suttilal's samosas are a delight to the guest. But the residents have a misconception about Prasanna.

There is a fight over buying samosas at Suttilal's shop. The fight is actually to impress Prasanna, who himself is stressed over the misconception that Mukundi has.

Lapataganj members dream about expanding their means of livelihood. The villagers get united to host a program for Prasanna. Prasanna enjoys their company and fears to reveal the truth.

The villagers are disappointed to know about the truth of Prasanna as their dreams are shattered. A Hakim arrives at Lapataganj to fool the simple villagers, Mukundi stands against it.

Pappu has no chance with Sureeli as his plan fails. Lallan and Mukundi argue about silly issues. Elija gets rejected by a woman. Hakim starts plotting new ways to affect the villagers.

Suttilal and Mircha go to the Hakim for treating their buffalo. Meanwhile, Lallan cannot find his glasses, and Bindu wishes he didn't have to wear them. One-by-one, the villagers visit the Hakim with their ailments.

Suttilal eats the medicine for his buffalo and falls sick. The villagers start to realize Hakim's medicines are fake. Lallan gets stuck due to his carelessness.

Mukundi saves Lallan from getting beaten up as he isn't wearing his glasses. The villagers discuss and lie about their ailments. Pappu gets beaten up by Mishri when she hears about the medicines he gave her.

The villagers finally reveal to each that there is no sign of recovery. The whole village together confronts the fake Hakim and asks their money back.

Lallan's colleagues will visit them, so he asks Bindu to prepare a special menu. Suttilal goes to Mukundi to resolve his problems.

People in Lapataganj wonder why Suttilal's shop is closed, which is unusual. Suttilal tells them that he would never reopen his shop because people never repay their debts.

Lallan's boss and his wife leave his house after tasting the food they had to offer him. Sureeli tells Pappu that he does not love her anymore as he did not get her jalebis.

Mukundi makes everyone repay their debts they had taken from Suttilal. Suttilal agrees to reopen his shop leaving everyone extremely happy.

Pappu and Guddu admire a new woman who they notice in Lapataganj. Bindu asks Lallan to stay out of the house until he gets his all three daughters home.

Lallan's mother asks Bindu to have a son against her will. Bindu breaks down seeing her daughters. Lallan's mother constantly finds faults in whatever Bindu and her daughters do.

Lalan Ji's amma has come over. She fusses over her son. Later, Lalan Ji's daughters arrive.

Mukundi and other villagers try to make Lallan's mother understand how lucky it is to have daughters. She understands only when her grand-daughters save her after her clothes catch fire.

Sureeli is extremely happy as she has won the dance competition in her school. Chotu mama drags Sureeli home when he ends up seeing Pappu romancing her.

Mishri and Chotu wonder why her husband still hasn't sent across the money order for the month. They are relieved when Mukundi informs them that the money order has come.

Mishri gets a shock after learning that Chotu has lost the money somewhere. Chotu blames Pappu for stealing his money which upsets Sureeli.

Mishri and her family begin to think about how to generate the money so that they can get through the month. Sureeli goes to Pappu and ends all ties with him.

Mama opens a tea stall. Lalan Ji's wife decides to send their three daughters to Surili, for dance classes. Later, Surili lies when she is asked why she has been feeling low.

Chotu mama opens a small tea stall to earn money, whereas Sureeli teaches dance to a few kids to generate money. After losing the next money order, Mama blames it on Mukundi.

Chotu mama takes his coat to Elija and asks him to stitch it back as he was the one to tear it. People in Lapataganj are shocked to learn that the only school in the village is shutting down forever.

Mukundi gets very upset as the only school in Lapataganj closes. Everyone sit together and listen to the protest Mukundi has in his mind.

Mukundi put up posters all over Lapataganj with the help of his fellow villagers. He then, openly challenges whosoever has done this, should come up if they have guts in them.

Mukundi is busy making his son do is homework. Then, suddenly, Bindubasini and Mukundi's father-in-law surprise him. But Mukundi is not at all surprised to see them.

There is a Kho-Kho competition taking place between Lapataganj and Gumshudaganj ladies. Laptaganj is in the lead with only one player left, Bindumati. But mishap happens and Bindumati falls down. Will Lapataganj win this competition?

It is time for a competition between the men. One side is the Lapataganj heroes and the other side are the Gumshudaganj heroes.

Mishri keeps on praying for the Lapataganj heroes so that they win the Kabaddi competition. By God's grace and everyone's hard work, Lapataganj wins and Sureeli comes running to tell her the news.

Bindumati is still in terrible pain after she hurt herself while playing Kho-Kho. Her mother-in-law asks Lallan to take care of her. He thinks Bindu should be taken to the city for a better treatment.

Lapataganj wins the game of "hide and seek" as nobody can find Chukundi, who is their sixteenth member. Mircha alone can defeat four men in "tug of war" but her hands get burnt.

Mircha's condition doesn't stop the villagers from playing for Chukundi's school. The game is going well but suddenly Bacchi gets out and so arises the question of Lapataganj winning.

Lapataganj is almost on the verge of losing the game as Mukundi is alone on one side of the rope. But a miracle happens and Lapataganj wins the game of tug of war.

Lapataganj donates three lakhs for Chukundi's school. Mukundi leaves for two days but Lallan arrives. The villagers are irritated with the extreme heat and wish for rain.

Chotu can't hide his feelings for Chameli. Chukundi has got heat rashes and Indu is tensed about him while awaiting Mukundi's return. The food products are high-priced due to the scorching heat and Mircha faints while fetching food.

The villagers struggle to pick up Mircha but finally, she regains consciousness. One Baba tells them that it will rain in an hour and rather fools them of their money.

Lapataganj assembles to decide a way out, but Chukundi's idea actually clicks in. Finally, it rains in their village and the residents enjoy their snacks.

Lapataganj is happy but the few miss their other halves. So Sureeli plans to make them happy and engage them in the togetherness of monsoon.

Chotu is upset that he couldn't see Chameli when she was leaving. Chukundi argues with Indu that he won't go to school when Sugandhi is in Lapataganj.

The villagers tease Sugandhi when he goes to give Mukundi tiffin and Sugandhi gives it back rightly. Sugandhi starts panicking when Mukundi is late in returning.

Chotu discusses with others about Mukundi's misbehaviour with his father and starts avoiding him. Mukundi returns home early and realizes Chukundi is missing.

Bindu is back in Lapataganj and has recovered. Bindu tells Indu that Lallan takes bribes. Suttilal gets stuck with Lallan as his papers are not clear.

The whole village talks about Lallan taking bribes. Mukundi confronts Lallan but he takes it lightly. Soon, he gets caught while taking bribe.

The officials raid at Lallan's house and make a list of essentials he has got through his bribe money. Lallan hides in shame and Bindu explains him to change his ways.

Lallan takes a new step in his life and announces it in the village. Chotu is scared of dogs and Elija saves him. Chotu and Elija discuss their friendship and get nostalgic.

After a long time, Elija gets a customer who asks him to take his measurements. Elija gets super excited and gets into business. After taking all the measurements, the customer says he does not want to get anything tailored. What could possibly be the reason?

Mamaji and Elija plan to start a business together by selling Elija's aunts chain. But they are shocked to know the truth. They are advised to take loan from the bank and start the business.

Mama and Elija have opened a new shop. The preparations for the opening are in full swing. What happens when the shop owner tells them that they cannot continue with their plan?

Sonamal gets welcomed in Lapataganj in an epic way. People tie a fire-cracker along with his pajamas string. And as soon as they light it up, he loses his calm and starts running from one place to another. Everyone laughs while watching him.

Mamaji asks Elija to learn lessons from him for their partnership. And Mamaji explains him their partnership and how they should work together by performing a dance.

Mama gets into an ugly fight with Lallan as he did not give money for the things he purchased from mama. He starts yelling at him and the whole Lapataganj gathers around. The fight continues to take an ugly turn.

Mukundi receives Indumati and brings her back home. She is excited and is surprised to see the changes in Lapataganj. Meanwhile, Lallan starts yelling at Mukundi this time for his money.

Certain arguments lead to a fight between Mamaji and Elija. The start throwing grocery items on each other and break down the store they started together. Mukundi reminds them of their ethics.

Indumati and Mukundilal meet a young girl outside a temple, who follows them and calls Mukundilal her father. Mukundilal decides to drop her off where they found her, but the other people present there cause a commotion.

As soon as Mukundi is leaving that girl in the police station, he gets caught by one of the constables. He is asked to take her home with him and not to do this again. Mukundi decides to keep her with him till they find her parents.

As soon as Sureeli and Mishri come back home they see a girl lying down near Mamaji. They are shocked to see her. Sureeli finds a note that someone leaves for Mamaji.

Pappu and mamaji start having a fight for Samosa. The shop owner gets into trouble, till then the little girl comes and sorts it out. Later, they con Lallanji and eat samosas on his money.

As soon as everyone sees the policemen, they get concerned if they will have to give Bhagyalakshmi back. Unknowingly, everyone starts protesting against them that they will not hand over her to them.

Mishri has started preparing laddoos for kids and others. Indu comes to help her as everyone in Lapataganj loves her laddoos. Mamaji and Elija demand extra sweets to be made as they get finished very early.

Mukundi comes back home in full anger as he finds the pack of sweets to be empty. Without knowing the actual truth, he starts yelling at Indu and blames her for staeling someones sweets.

Mishri calls Lallanji to talk about something. But he tries to hide his face for what he did. But both are talking about a different topic unknowingly and hence misunderstanding builds up.

Mukundi investigates a resident and Indu gets upset that he is out late at night. Mukunda calls an assembly to talk about the smuggling of the ration.

The villagers argue over who sent Putani the laddoos as he has written a letter to Mishri telling her about it. Lapataganj celebrates the twelfth anniversary of Lallan and Bindu.

Sugandhi talks about how to become self-sufficient. Mircha announces that there is a discount on ration. There is a long queue at the ration shop and the villagers start fighting. Mukundi finds one neighbour smuggling their ration.

Chotu is upset as he didnt even share of the laddoos that Mishri prepared. Mukundi asks help from Chotu to convince Mishri.

Mukundi plots to find out the ration smuggling result but Indu's misunderstanding stops him. Together, the residents of Lapataganj catch the culprit and put an end to the black market.

Elija gets into trouble with the relatives of a goon. The goon sends men to find Elija. Elija and Mama get beaten up in front of all the people.

Sureeli slaps a boy, who is Thakurs brother and he decides to marry her. Singaraganjs Thakur, Bhanu Pratap arrives at Lapataganj to arrange this wedding and the villagers misunderstand.

Thakur and his brother, Gyaani enter Lapataganj and start creating a fuss. Thakur tells everyone about Gyaanis weird problem of whistling after finish any sentence.

Pappu goes to the law college to get his degree certificate. He gets very happy to receive it and starts wondering that this not just a law degree certificate, it is a certificate which will make him get married to Sureeli.

Sureeli gets very angry when everybody says a no for her and Pappu's marriage. She stops eating dinner, Mishri tries to make her understand what is good for her.

Sureeli is extremely happy and on cloud nine when Mishri and Mamaji agree on what Sureeli wants. Bindumati comes and both of them share their feelings. Sureeli dreams about herself and Pappu together.

Elija teases Sutilaal and Mircha Bhabhi and reminds them old days. he keeps insisting Mirja Bhabhi to tell him how she impressed Suttilaal so that he can take that tip and impress some other girl.

Thakur sends his men to threaten Mishri and her family as they said a no for the marriage. Mishri loses her calm and gets scared. Mamaji asks her to wait till morning and then they will asks everyone.

Surili meets an unexpected guest as she stares out of the bus window. Surili feels weak since she has not eaten anything for a while. On the other hand, Surili's family members are worried about her and lodge a complaint with the police.

Sureeli and Pappu decide to run away from Lapatagnaj as everyone was against them. They come running to a hilltop and decide to make their house their and stay together happily.

Gabbu Pandey enters Lapataganj in a rickshaw but he does not have the change to give. Then he asks Suttilaal to give the rickshaw person money. He starts with his false philosophy and ends up giving no one their money, as usual.

Finally, Pappu sends a letter to Mishri and mamaji. They ask Mukundi to read it and let them know what is their status. Mishri starts to panic and becomes restless to know what is there in the letter.

Mishri does not keep calm as Sureeli is not back home yet. She plans to go and find her anywhere and so packs her bag and is ready to leave. But then Indumati comes and asks her to calm down as Mukundi has already gone to find her.

Thakur gets to know that Sureeli is back with Pappu in lapataganj. He comes along with his brothers to take back Sureeli. One after the other everyone starts protecting Sureeli and Pappu.

Gyaani keeps crying all day long as he cannot stand Sureeli and Pappu together. He begs to Thakur, his brother, to do something or it will be late and Sureeli will get married to Pappu. What will Thakur plan now?

As Pappu was about to leave to give the hard-earned money to Mishri, Gyaani and his men stop him and does not let him go. Watch how bravely Pappu fights all the goons and Gyaani.

Everything ends on a good note and every member of the Lapataganj family is happy. They sit for a competition where they have to sing with the last alphabet is given to them. Everyone is enjoying and are competitive at the same moment.

Kachua Chacha stands on the middle of Lapataganj dressed as Anna and protests against corruption. He tries to influence other people by telling them what is going in the country.

It is time that Pappu and Sureeli are going to get married to each other. The whole of Lapataganj is decorated and the Hadli function has started.

Indumati starts running from here and there in the house, trying to hide from Mukundi. She starts blushing when Mukundi comes near her to ask something. What could be the news that scared Mukundi so much.

All men could not control themselves from not entering the ladies function. So instead they wear saree and do some make-up and enter the function. Watch what happens when they get caught.

Pappu's father says that they want to bear the weddings expenses. But Mishri does not agree to it and says that she will bear the expenses as it is her daughters wedding. Both of them start fighting, so Elija comes up with a perfect solution.

Pappu is mesmerised seeing Sureeli as his bride. After so much chaos, they finally tie the knot and get married to each other.

Sureeli is extremely upset after receiving her father's letter which states the reason why he wouldn't be able to attend her wedding. Pappu and Sureeli then get busy with their post-wedding festivities.

A dance face off takes place between the boys and girls. Pappu finally gets his shoes back from the girls. Pappu had to leave to his house without Surili, after the wedding.

Pappu returns to his house upset, and cries to Guddu. He decides to visit Surili the very next day. The contractor who organized the wedding comes to collect money from Pappu's father.

When Pappu goes to meet Surili he mimicks a dog to indicate his arrival to Surili. Mukundi who is upset ove a fight with Indumati, expresses his concerns to Lallan and Bindu.

Ramleela has been organised in Lapataganj and everybody dresses up as different characters. Mamaji and Lallanji go against each other to play their respective roles.

Ramleela act continues as they portray the story. The audience enjoys as it is wartime and everyone playfully hit each other to get in character.

Mukundi gets up from his nap and does not find Indumati anywhere. He is glad not to find her as he will not have to listen to Indu's rants. But Then Lallanji comes and he gets upset.

While getting down of the train, Pappu hugs Sureeli and gets all romantic. But then he gets slapped as the woman he is hugging is not Sureeli. Pappu gets embarrassed as everyone is looking at him.

Pappu mistakenly hugs T.T. Bhabausinghs wife. Later he apologizes to Bhabausingh and pleads him to not keep any grudges. He later tells him that he will be going to Mumbai in the same train and that they should keep harmony among themselves.

There is a bomb in the train and everyone gets to know about it. There is chaos as everyone is in panic. Indumati starts crying as she does not want to die. How will everyone get out of this situation?

Elija and Chotu miss the train to Mumbai. While finding a way out, they find Sureeli and Pappu also stranded on Laxmanghat station. On realising a shop has similar clothes as Chotu does, they manage to catch the thief that sells their bag.

Chotu and Elija finally come out there hiding. The truck driver agrees to take them to the next station, Igatpuri. The villagers give a surprise to Mishris husband.

The villagers are on an emotional rollercoaster to stay at the resort. The couples enjoying themselves but Sureeli leaves Mishris room at late night.

Pappu and Sureeli spend some time alone but Pappu is annoyed with Mishris decision on delaying. The women are confused to see a swimming pool at their resort.

Lapataganj residents travel around Mumbai and experience different and newer aspects of life. They indulge in variety of food and sea bathing.

Lapataganj residents gear up for the witnessing the shoot. Indu's act scares Mukundi and Bindu. Pappu plans to spend time with Sureeli and convinces Guddu.

Shooting begins but the heroine is forgetful of her dialogues so Indu interrupts which starts a fight between the heroine and her. On apologising, the film crew selects Indu as their new cast.

Indu rejects the plea on Mukundi's choice but gets upset. Lapataganj residents feel heavy-hearted as they have to leave and coax Mishris husband to come along with them.

The Bhais of Mumbai arrive at the resort to have a word of resolvement with Mishris husband. The villagers tackle it and board the train on time.

Mirchas sister, Rani arrives at Lapataganj. Pappu threatens Mishri and Chotu for keeping Sureeli apart. Rani plans to get closer to Elija but he is perplexed.

Chotu mama is cries in pain as Mishri applies a hot pack on him. Mukundi is surprised to see Indu return from her parents house in a week.

It is Elija's 35th birthday and he starts missing his mother as Indu wishes him birthday just like her. People in Lapataganj try to make his birthday as memorable as possible.

Rani claims to be Elija's wife in front of the lawyer. Even though all the people stand by Ranis word, Elija reveals the truth saying Rani isnt his wife.

The fellow villagers at Suttilals shop try to talk Elija into not getting married but his decision of marrying Rani remains stern.

Indu is upset with Mukundi as he is too buy to take her out for a movie. Elija decides to meet Ranis parents and take Indu along with him.

Indu cries in front of Mishri as she finds two movie tickets from his pocket. Mishri suggests Indu gives Mukundi unconditional love so that he never thinks about any other woman.

Happy with his work, Mukundi's boss lets him leave for home early. As soon as he reaches his house, Indu is waiting for him with the movie tickets she found in his pocket.

Chotu mama's word becomes more powerful when three other people from Lapataganj see the witch. They call an exorcist to get rid of the witch from their village.

The witch tells Chotu that he made a mistake calling the exorcist and that it has upset her even more. Mukundi suggests Chotu mama leaves Lapataganj to eliminate such thoughts from his head.

Pappu and Guddu are petrified when the witch talks about taking them with her. Mukundi and Elija then reveal that it was their plan to teach Pappu a lesson.

Duniya is extremely happy as she receives a letter from her friend, Gudia saying she is coming to visit her. While Guddu's father yells at him, Gudia sees him getting humiliated.

Chotu and Elija make fun of Lallan as he fails to answer any riddles they throw at him. Learning that Guddu again went to meet Pappu against her wish, she asks him to leave Lapataganj and move to Kanpur with her parents.

Duniya refuses to eat anything until Guddu agrees to leave Lapataganj. Bindu asks Lallan to find a job for Guddu so that he does not have to leave Lapataganj.

Pappu along with the entire village bid Guddu farewell, before he leaves for Kanpur with Duniya. As they are about to leave, Duniya's father arrives at Lapataganj.

Lallan and Bindu get into a heated argument after which she kicks him out of the house. Mukundi asks Indu to talk to Bindu and resolve her fight with Lallan.

Lallan has a hard time finishing the household chores without Bindu. The next morning, Lallan arrives at Mukundi's house with his luggage and decides to stay with him.

Mishri and other women ask Bindu to forgive Lallan and go back to her house. Even though Lallan tries to apologize to Bindu, she refuses to forgive him.

Indu starts crying in front of the villagers when Mukundi does not return home till late in the night. Mukundi, after returning, reveals that he stayed the night in an abandoned house to avoid sleeping with Lallan's snores.

Sutti Lal overhears Chotu's statements against him and warns Pudina not to lend Chotu anything. Sutti Lal is fuming in anger because Chotu lied to him.

Guddu tells Pappu that Duniya doesn't want to see them together. While Duniya arrives at Sutti Lal's stall, Guddu and Pappu hide from her. The police arrest Chotu.

After Chotu gets arrested, Mukundi along with the others, goes to the station to bail him out. Biji Pandey aka Pappu, visits the station to bail out Chotu.

Mukundi wakes up early to polish his bicycle and make it shine. Indumati is excited as she is going for the fair with Mukundi. Mukundi realises that his cycle is missing.

Indumati is upset and angry because Mukundi returns home late and because of him she couldn't go for the fair. Everyone is shocked to learn that Mukundi's cycle is missing.

Mukundi is worried thinking about his cycle. Indumati stands on leg and prays to god hoping that her husband's cycle will be found sooner.

Lallan buys the cycle from the man who stole from Mukundi without being aware of it. Indumati notices that the cycle which Lallan gets, is infact, Mukundi's cycle.

While Indumati recognizes her husband's cycle, he pretends not to. Pappu, Guddu, and Chotu mama visit Mukundi at night. Indumati and Bindu get into and argument again.

Mamaji sits with his gang in Suttilals shop and has a gala time. They all praise him for making them laugh. Then Mamaji tells them stories about his father how he also used to make everyone laugh.

This time it is Lallanjis cycle that gets stolen. Bindumati witnesses it and informs Lallanji about it. He gets shocked as for how can someone steal his cycle. On the contrary, Indu finds a cycle in her porch. What is the matter?

Indumati decorates the cycle as she is happy to get it back. But Bindumati claims that it is their cycle. Mishri supports Indumati as she knows it is their cycle. Everyone asks the stranger to tell the truth.

Chotu along with a friend go to meet Shanti who they refer to as a sanyasi. Chotu wants to attain sanyas and gain peace, when he returns home, Mishri mausi is shocked at his behaviour.

Mukundi comes back home from the office and relaxes until Mishri comes running asking for help. She is concerned as Chotu is not behaving normally. Mishri starts being superstitious.

Mamaji decides to take renunciation and calls up a local meeting with the villagers. Everyone starts getting irritated as he is protesting for everyone to follow his path.

People of Lapataganj are shocked looking at Chotu trying to be a sanyaasi. Elija and the others also follow Chotu's steps in becoming a sanyaasi.

Chotu, Elija, and two other villagers, have finally thought of going to a sacred place, out of daily life. Mishri starts to panic and goes out of control. Mukundi has lost all hope in Mamaji.

Shanti Lal and his wife arrive in Lapataganj. Chotu fails to recognize Shanti Lal. The people of Lapataganj celebrate Lohri with Shanti Lal and his wife.

There is a free medical camp happening in Lapataganj. Mishri takes Surili with her to visit the doctor at the camp. The doctor informs them that Surili is likely to get her voice back.

Mishri mausi wins a prize. Mukundi spots Pappu and Guddu going for a movie. Guddu visits Mishri mausi's house. Suttilal gets worried seeing Radhe walk towards his stall.

A sewing machine vendor comes to Lapataganj selling his company's products and Elija seems interested. Chotu goes to collect Mishri's money but doesn't get it. Radhe again visits Suttilal.

Guddu visits Chotu in Lapataganj. Guddu meets Surili and spends time with her. Pappu gets excited as he learns that Surili might get her voice back.

Lallan and Mukundi fall off the cycle. Chotu, yet again, leaves the office without getting Mishri mausi's money and meets the minister regarding the same.

Mishri mausi along with the people of Lapataganj, visits the officer who has to give them money. Mausi gets a call from the nurse saying they will prepare for Surili's operation.

Mishri starts crying as she tells her fellow villagers that she needs one lakh rupees to get Sureeli operated for her to speak again. People in Lapataganj decide to contribute as much as they can for Sureeli's operation.

People in Lapataganj try their best to raise money for Sureeli's operation. After learning that the money has to be deposited in the hospital within a week, Sureeli loses all hope.

Chotu mama tells Elija that he is planning to rob someone in order to raise money for Sureeli's operation. In the night, both of them mug Lallan after his salary day.

Mishri beats Chotu up after she learns that he was the one to mug Lallan. Elija explains the reason behind Chotu's wrongdoing which makes everyone in Lapataganj emotional.

Mishri apologizes to Chotu for hurting him. Kundan Singh Kushwaha challenges Pappu openly in front of everyone and announces a fight after three days in Lapataganj.

Mukundi's father arrives in Lapataganj to give Pappu tips for how to fight. After a lot of bargain, he starts training Pappu for the fight.

Pappu suffers various injuries and pain while training for the fight. The day of the fight arrives, and everyone in Lapataganj roots for Pappu and motivates him.

Kundan Singh and Pappu begin their fight with the wooden strip and it is a close competition. In the process, Pappu gets hurt terribly and starts bleeding.

As Pappu defeats Kundan Singh, the entire village of Lapataganj jumps with joy and excitement. Sureeli and her family then leave for Lucknow to get her operated.

Sureeli is admitted to the hospital and soon taken to the operation theatre. After the operation, the doctor tells the family that Sureeli will begin to talk, but gradually.

People in Lapataganj celebrate the happiness of Sureeli's successful operation. Mishri is so happy with Pappu that she allows him to move into their house and live with them.

Pappu is on cloud nine when he gets to spend time with Sureeli. Mishri opposes Pappu romancing Sureeli and stops him every time he touches Sureeli.

A few people, while digging up a spot in Lapataganj, find an ancient statue. When an archeologist comes and examines the statue, it is found to be of great importance.

In order to find the missing part of the statue, the archeologist plans to dig Mukundi's house up. Mukundi and Indu become homeless as all their belongings are removed from their house.

S01E530

Mukundi overhears the labours talk about how Mr. Chedi has been getting random places dug for years. Pappu acts friendly with Mr. Chedi to get the truth out from him.

After Mr. Chedi finds the missing part, he is on cloud nine. Pappu calls the media in Lapataganj to cover this story.

Mukundi and Indu are relieved to be finally back in their house and live every moment. As Indu's mother is ill, Indu goes to visit her for two days.

After Mircha trips and falls unconscious, a doctor comes to check her up. Once she wakes up, she seems to have forgotten everything and starts acting like a kid.

People in Lapataganj try to get Mircha's memory back by reminding her of various things. Elija takes advantage of the situation and romances her sister. Rani.

Mircha plays around with all the kids in Lapataganj. The cops feel that Suttilal have been troubling Mircha and arrest him.

People in Lapataganj blame Chotu mama for Mircha and Suttilals condition. They then go to the police station to get Suttilal out of the lock up.

Chotu is filled with remorse and decides to take care of Mircha. While playing, Mircha faints and when she wakes up, she regains her memory.

Suttilal distributes sweets in Lapataganj in the joy of Mircha regaining her memory. Pappu is scared seeing Sureeli and wonders what he would do if she loses her memory.

Mishri asks Sureeli and Pappu to maintain distance. She then adds that Sureeli cannot live with Pappu unless her father comes and visits them.

Pappu and Guddu cover themselves and enter Mishris house with an intention to kidnap Sureeli. Mishri and other villagers are worried as Sureeli is nowhere to be seen.

The cops come to Lapataganj and investigate everyone closely to find out who is responsible for Sureeli's abduction. Sureeli is kept in a secluded room with her mouth and hands tied.

Pappu covers his face and changes his voice while feeding Sureeli. Pappu and Guddu are nervous seeing how big of a deal Sureeli's abduction has become.

Mishri and other villagers try and do the best they can in order to get Sureeli back. Sureeli is stunned to see that Pappu is the one who kidnapped her.

S01E545

Seeing the people in Lapataganj worry about Sureeli, Pappu is filled with remorse. All of them are taken aback when he tells them that he had kidnapped Sureeli but now he has lost her.

Pappu attempts to hang himself in front of the people of Lapataganj as he is unable to take the pain. As soon as he tries to do it, he sees Sureeli and stops.

Indu is extremely happy after Bhagyalaxmi tells her that she has won an essay competition in her school. Indu goes around the village praising her daughter.

Mukundi hides the fact that Bhagyalaxmis real parent shad come to take her. When Mukundi meets her real parents, he is stunned after seeing the evidence they have to show.

When Mukundi finally reveals the truth to Indu, she is devastated. She cries all day thinking about having a life without Bhagyalaxmi.

Everyone in Lapataganj come together to celebrate Bhagyalaxmi's birthday and her last day with them. Indu and Mukundi bid her a farewell with a heavy heart.

Chukundi refuses to eat unless he sees Bhagaylaxmi. After talking to Indu, Mukundi realizes that there has been a distortion of facts and reports it to the policeman immediately.

Indu and Mukundi along with the policemen track down Bhagyalaxmi and the cops arrest her fake parents. People in Lapataganj are extremely happy to see Bhagyalaxmi back in their village.

Lallan tells Bindu how desperately he wants a promotion as he might not get one for the next two years.

Lallan faints when he learns that he has received a mixer grinder as a consolation prize. People in Lapataganj stand in a queue in front of Bindu's house to get various items grinded.

S01E556

A bank person comes to Lapataganj to give the notice. But he forgets the route Mishri told him and lands up in front of Lallanji's house. Lallanji misunderstands Mishri and does not stop yelling.

Indu and Bindu have kept everything ready and are waiting for the men to come and then start the ceremony. But the men return with bad news. What is the bad news?

Finally, it is the day when Lallanji gets promoted and Mamaji brings the good news to Mishri. Lallanji invites everyone for celebrations.

Mamaji gets up in the morning and leaves for a cup of tea with his friends. But instead, Mishri gets him the tea. He denies it as he wants to have it with his best friend, Elija and have some fun.

Mamaji has become self-obsessed and has firmly decided that he will get married for the third time. Mishri is unhappy with this decision and warns him to think all over again.

A family comes to meet Mamaji and Mishri for Mamaji's marriage. Mamaji is very excited to see the girl and as soon as he sees her, he is mind-blown and wants to get married immediately.

Mamaji loses his calm when he gets to know that the girl denied for marriage. He meets the girl's uncle who gives him the bitter truth that he is not a match for his niece.

Mamaji dreams about him and Chutki romancing and spending the best time. Everybody gets ready for the function, the next morning. They all keep waiting for the bride's side people to come, but no one turns up.

Mukundi and Mamaji spy on the people who denied for the marriage. They want to catch them and make them learn a lesson for whatever they did. With smartness, they plan a plot to get a hold of them.

Mishri and Indumati are having a gala time with each other as they talk about Mamaji. They start laughing when they discuss if Mamaji still wants to get married.

Everyone is busy doing some or the other work in Lapataganj and suddenly Chukundi faints. Indumati starts crying and panics. What happened to Chukundi?

S01E568

Elija and Mamaji are collecting donation money from people to make an umbrella for Hanuman Ji. Mukundi, on the other hand, prays for the betterment of childen and their education in Lapataganj.

Mukundi comes running back home with good news. He tells Chukundi and Indu that he will now be able to go back to school. This happened as Mamaji helped him by giving all the donation money.

Lapatagnaj residents get excited when they see Bittoo Boss. Initially none recognised him, but later everyone started appraising them.

Mamaji makes Elija run a long way and he gets tired. Elija pleads him to stop, but he keeps running and asks him to run as well, as it good for the health and mind.

S01E573

Mukundi is having a leisure when he suddenly remembers that he forgot to get ornaments for Indumati. When Indumati asks him about those earrings, he fails to reply.

Indumati is still angry with Mukundi and is not talking to him. Mukundi tries to woo her and uplift her mood, but it is a waste. A person comes with a hidden camera and records Mukundi and Indu's conversations.

Mukundi is against the builder's tactic of buying Lapataganj. So the builder abducts Mukundi and Churma Bhopali goes home in his place.

Churma struggles to play it cool at home and office. Indu is elated to find the earrings and doubts about Mukundi's indifferent behaviour.

Churma's push up challenge leaves the whole village stunned. Guddu's father breaks down in front of Churma asking for his money back.

The villagers one by one agree to sell off their lands. Mukundi gets caught once again while trying to escape. Pickpocketer at the theatre threatens the villagers.

Churma fights with the pickpockets and rescue back their lost money. Mukundi finally hears about his look-alike at Lapataganj. The whole village catches hold of Churma, who is trying to run away.

The villagers celebrate Mukundi's birthday by presenting Churma with different unique gifts. Mukundi, on the other hand, gets a cake from Govardhan.

Churma brings the legal papers for their land. Lapataganj residents start dreaming about their better future. Govardhan tells Mukundi about the changing story of Lapataganj.

The villagers are about to sign the papers, when Mukundi enters and exposes Govardhan. Churma makes a dynamic entry.

Mukundi and Churma tell their story and impress the residents of Lapataganj, but only Indu is able to recognise the real Mukundi. Elija wishes he too can have a wife like Chotu did.

Elija is missing Rani but Mircha is still not agreeing to marry them off. Elija with help of his neighbours attempts to pursue Mircha.

Mircha is infuriated with Elija's failed attempts and it only gets worse. Chameli arrives with her friend, Gujaria and Lallan is having sleepless nights.

Lallan is terrified with Gujaria and feels that Chameli is also helping her. He wishes that Gujaria gets married to Elija.

Gujaria's unique way astonishes the Lapataganj residents. Elija has suddenly attained a fame and lot of customers arrive at his shop. Gujaria calls Elija for lunch and Chotu also joins in.

Mircha and Lallan fight over feeding Elija for lunch. Finally, Lallan tells the villagers about Gujaria's reality and that Elija is a government recognised tailor.

Mukundi needs to buy a new cycle but is comptemplating it. Bhagyalaxmi announces that Chukundi got selected in a recitation competition.

Chukundi is keeping away the change he should return back. Chotu and Chukundi compete on instant rhymes. Pappu plots against Chotu's love story.

Mukundi is tensed to find money in Chukundi's pocket. Chukundi wins the competition and brings laddoo for his family.

Chukundi starts sweating when Mukundi asks him what he was doing near the lottery man. Mukundi learns that Chukundi has received a thousand rupees from the minister.

Mukundi is so angry that he pushes Chukundi out of the house. The people in Lapataganj are shocked to hear that Chukundi has started gambling.

Chotu Mama is mesmerized after seeing Chameli and soon faints due to the injury on his forehead. Indu shares her wish of visiting Singapore to Mukundi.

S01E596

Indumati keeps jumping around from here to there in happiness. Chukundi asks the reason for her happiness and she finally breaks the news of her going to Singapore with Mukundi.

Chameli tries to comfort Mamaji but does not get any response. Instead when Elija comforts him, he readily accepts it. Seeing this, Chameli gets upset and then Pappu gives her the best advice.

Chameli does not stop cying. Lallanji comes yelling that Chameli has left him helpless and that he cannot show his face to anyone. He gets upset as Chameli wrote that letter to Mamaji.

Chameli's stupid friend, Duniya, asks her to throw the plant again on Mamaji so that he gets his memory back. Everyone starts screaming for applying this philosophy without using brain.

Chotu expresses his feelings to Chameli. Lallan and Pappu bargain on the damage amount. Lallan tells the villagers he has fixed Chameli's marriage.

Chotu revolts in his original form against Chameli's marriage. Elija and Chotu has to apologise to Lallan for their misdeeds. The doctor gets extremely irritated at Pappu for forging the case.

Indu is tensed and is adamant to suffice the month with the ration. The whole village buys ration in plenty as they find it inexpensive.

Indu has lunch at Mishri's house and avoids spending too much ration to fulfil her plan of saving money. Mukundi is bored of having brinjals and now wants bitter guard.

Bhagyalaxmi wants to have mango and Indu gets tensed as it is expensive. Indu decides to avoid washing clothes every alternate day. Lallan arrives at their place to have breakfast.

Indu helps Elija when his cousin sister's prospective groom comes to see her. Indu finally opens up about using up all her ration to treat the guests.

Chameli hates Chotu and so he gets depressed. Gujaria wants to meet and know about Elija's whereabouts. Chotu sends a letter to Chameli and leaves her confused.

Chukundi and Bhagyalaxmi teach Indu to speak English. Gujaria forces Elija to write a letter to her mother and Chameli realizes that Elija only wrote the love letter.

Gujaria is head over heels for Elija but he doesn't feel the same for her. Suttilal is scared as to Elija is supposed to get married to Rani and informs this to Mukundi.

Elija promises Mukundi that he wants Rani only. Chameli misguides Gujaria telling Elija is the one for her. Elija is terrified of Gujaria's approach.

Chameli charges Elija in front of the village enquiring about the love letter. Chotu expresses that the letter was for Chameli from his side, only written by Elija.

Lallan confronts Elija with the letter, misunderstanding him. Finally, when Lallan hears about the truth behind the letter, he threatens him about the police. Chotu finds the letter but gets scared to see Gujaria.

Chotu enjoys time at Lallan's place at night. Elija is about to get arrested when Chotu asks for evidence, the change of evidence makes the situation even worse.

Elija's customer, Kallu dada refuses to pay for the clothes and attacks him. The villagers together throw him outside Lapataganj. Tufan Singh, a criminal arrives at the village, searching for Lallan.

Lallan rescues a person, who apparently is a slipper thief, Tufan Singh. The police announced that he is getting a reward for catching the thief. The villagers stand together for defending Lallan, after hearing his story.

Chameli's new friend in burqa, Jamila arrives at Lapataganj. Chotu and Elija try to enquire about her, but somehow Chameli manages. At PWD office, Lallan's colleagues are talking behind his back, when suddenly he emerges.

Chotu and Elija inform Lallan that Tufan Singh came to visit him. The duo works out to bash away Tufan but there is a confusion with the burqa and they beat up Lallan in place of Tufan.

Chotu promises to take care of Chameli when Tufan's letter stuns them all. Lallan is lazy and doesn't want to look for his sister, so Chotu is prepared with a plan.

Chameli runs away from Tufan's capture and Chotu brings the wrong sack to him. Tufan comes to Lapataganj and is upright in front of Lallan.

S01E620

People in Lapataganj are shattered after the cops tell them that they have found Kachua's dead body. The clothes and other things found are identified as Kachua's.

S01E622

After finishing Kachua's last rites, all the villagers are stunned to see him. He then tells everyone where he had been all the days of being found to be missing.

Kachua and his fellow villagers fight for the former's house but to no avail. So, they head to the police station to file a complaints.

There arises a confusion about who actually own Kachua's house. Kachua then works towards proving that he is Kachua and is alive.

Kachua is put inside lock up after he attacks a policeman. Kachua finally gets ownership of his house and is proved to be alive.

Seeing Mukundi walk with his bicycle instead of riding it, almost everyone in the village asks him the reason. After telling everyone that one of the tires is punctured, he loses his calm when Chotu asks the same question and starts beating him up.

Mirza Taiyyab gets furious when Pappu starts praising his daughters. Later, Pappu even misbehaves with Indu which makes Mukundi angry.

Indu points out how Mukundi always gets her clothes, even though his clothes are all worn out. Indu feels that she does not do enough for Mukundi and expresses her wish of doing something great for him.

Pappu is mesmerized seeing Mirza Taiyaab's daughter's faces for the first time. Chotu mama is embarrassed to step out without a mustache.

Indu surprises Mukundi with a scooter which would make his commute to work much easier. When they go out for a ride, the scooter skids and they have a fall.

Pappu while teaching Indu how to ride a scooter, crashes after he sees Mirza Taiyyab's daughters. After a couple of days, she finally learns how to ride.

People in Lapataganj are mind blown seeing Pappu's twin brother. Indu starts crying when she learns that the brother sold her scooter.

Indu loves Pappu's gesture of collecting money from people to buy her a new scooter, which his brother sold off. Guddu is stunned to find out that it is Eijji Pandey who has been taking money from people and not Pappu.

When both Pandey brothers claim to be Pappu, Guddu after getting a slap from both of them recognizes who the real one is. Indu is on cloud nine to see her scooter with Mukundi.

Elija returns to Lapataganj wearing Superman's costume. In his attempt to fly, Elija experiences a fall and hurts himself.

Eijji buys twenty-five tickets for the Superman movie leaving Guddu muddled. Indu insists Mukundi takes her for the movie and miss work.

All the shows for the Superman movies are house-full and people in Lapataganj are depressed when they don't get a ticket. Enters Eijji, who sells the tickets for a much higher rate than what he bought them for.

People in Lapataganj sit and enjoy the Superman movie together. Eijji gets a shock when he realizes that he has held Mirza Taiyyab's hand instead of his daughters.

After Silent Baba calls Eijji Superman, lightning strikes him and he disappears. People in Lapataganj are bewildered to see Eijji flying up in the sky.

Eijji becomes the Superman for Lapatagnj people and everyone starts asking for help. Indumati asks him to get groceries for her. Everybody is astonished to see Eijji like this.

A car enters Lapataganj and people are surprised to see it. Three men in a black dress get off the car. The leader is portrayed as mummy by his followers and is unknown to everyone in Lpataganj.

Mamaji stands right on the top of the house to jump. He thinks that he is a Superman and he will be able to fly in the air. But he falls off and gets badly hurt.

The bad people are about to forcefully take away Lapataganj's Hanumanji. But in the nick of time, Superman comes and blocks their way. Watch how superman fights the bad guys and save the idol.

It is a bright sunny day and Mukundi calls Indumati as he is leaving for the office. But like all other women who nag to their husbands, Indu also starts nagging Mukundi that he does not take her anywhere for holidays.

Mukundi, Indumati, Mishri, Mamaji, and others are sitting glued to the television. They sit to watch the news where they will get to know that the world might come to an end. Will the world come to an end?

It is a stormy night and everyone's headed to home. Suddenly, there is thunder and lightning in the sky and Mirja is striked with the lightening. Sutilaal comes running to save her.

Mamaji comes home crying, Mishri gets tensed as to what could have possibly happened. But he does not stop crying and gathers all the Lapataganj people inside his house. After hearing the news, Mishri's heart breaks and she starts crying.

Kachua Chacha gives a tribute to Rajesh Khanna by singing his iconic song. And he makes everyone in Lapataganj sing as well. Everyone melodiously sings his songs and pays tribute in their own way.

Pappu visits Mishri's house and asks her to accept his apology. He actually feels bad for what he did to her and does not want any grudges before the world ends. He promises to be her child in the next life.

The earth gets divided into two halves in Laptaganj. One set of people on one side and the rest on the other side. Everybody is devastated to see such a scenario and prays for their best. Is it a dream or reality?

Mishri tells Mamaji that she will accept anything from him only when he gets it with his own hard earned money. Mamaji gets upset as he does not want to work. Mishri makes him understand that it is necessary to get respect from everyone.

Mamaji comes home with a piece of good news that PWD has called him for a job interview. Mishri gets super excited and starts praying for his good health and wealth.

Mishri beats Chotu mama up because he was kicked out of PWD. Kachua suggests Chotu does something that he loves so that it does not feel like work.

While Suttilal is away, Chotu mama receives a huge order for sweets and savouries. Even though Suttilal disagrees to take the order, Chotu insists he does so, so that he can make some money.

Mishri is ashamed of Chotu and asks him to stay away. Mukundi gives Indu a ride around Lapataganj. A collector arrives at Lapataganj, with an emerging hope to solve their problems.

S01E657

Mukundi urges the collector to have a word with Chotu. The collector convinces Chotu to not drive rickshaw anymore and try other better ways to earn his livelihood.

Chotu is severely injured but still successfully carries collector Tripathi to the nearby hospital to save him. Due to this act, Chotu is awarded an amount of ten thousand rupees.

Mishri does the honour of hoisting the flag. Chukundi questions his father that why the citizens give more importance to the freedom fighters only on Independence Day and not on other days.

Missing Indu returns back to Lapataganj after few hours as Mukundi has forgotten her birthday. Two buffalos are additions to her, gifted by her father. But Mukundi gets annoyed with the presence of Phoolbati.

Phoolbati is the new milk supplier in Lapataganj as the whole village gets enthralled to see her. Mircha is in dilemma with Indu's decision as Suttilal's business is running in loss.

Mukundi wakes up his children early on Eid and shouts at Indu for being obsessed with Phoolbati. Pappu's flirting has reached new heights.

Parmanand Pandit assures Mukundi and Indu that he will sort out their disputes. But their problems only get worse so Indu shifts to Lalganj, forever.

Kallu is happy after learning about Indu and Mukundi's fight. Mishri calls Indu's parents house and asks her to come back but Indu refuses.

Eijji brings Kallu's truth in front of everyone which makes everyone angry. The reason behind Indu and Mukundi's fight comes out and Indu returns to Lapataganj.

Soon after coming back to Lapataganj, Indu chases Mukundi with a wooden stick, thinking Mukundi is getting remarried. All the villagers plan to get Indu and Mukundi married once again.

Mukundi agrees to get married to Indu once again. Everyone in Lapataganj starts preparing for the couple's big day.

After a lot of convincing, Mukundi's father agrees for Mukundi and Indu's remarriage. The couple dresses up for their big day, helped by their friends.

Mukundi wakes up with a dream where he has already married Indu. He starts missing her and tries his best to see her, but Mishri does not let him.

Eager to see Indu, Eijji suggests Mukundi bursts a bomb in Mishri's house. The plan backfires as the bomb hurts Chotu mama and makes Mishri extremely angry.

When two people selling bangles ask for Mishri's address, Eijji and Mukundi take up their look so that Mukundi gets to see Indu.

Mishri and other villagers are angry seeing Mukundi's disguise to see Indu. Bindu tells Mukundi that she can help him meet Indu but she puts forth a condition.

Mukundi's boss, after seeing his work, talks about his promotion. Chotu mama tells Elija that he will not let this wedding happen as Eijji has challenged him.

The celebrations begin by Ladies Sangeet where all the women sing and dance with joy. Seeing Guddu and Eijji at the celebration, the ladies are furious and start beating them up.

While praying in front of God, Indu and Mukundi talk about how close the distance has brought them. Later in the day, Mukundi has his haldi ceremony.

Amidst all the celebrations, the Women's Commission intervenes and defame Mukundi for getting married for the second time. People in Lapataganj later find out that the confusion was deliberately created by Chotu mama.

After all the hustle, Mukundi finally gets to see his bride all dolled up for him. They are extremely happy and recreate their wedding vows all over again.

People in Lapataganj sing and dance to entertain the newlyweds. Later, Mukundi gets romantic with Indu on their first night but their children wish to sleep with them.

Lallan trips and falls while running behind Mukundi, asking him for a lift. Bindu complains to Indu about the same.

Lallan becomes a laughing stock as he wears a rodent red coat. He then goes to buy a second-hand car accompanying Eijji.

Bindu and other villagers are super excited to see Lallan with a car. People laugh at him when they see him push the car the next day.

Lallan is so paranoid after seeing a man trying to steal his car, he locks his car using chains. In the morning, he asks people to help him push the car so that it starts.

People in Lapataganj are taken aback when Mishri tells them that Lallan's car has a corpse in the back seat. They immediately inform the cops who come to investigate the case.

Lallan is put behind bars in the charge for having kept a dead body in his car. Bindu cries her eyes out when the cops refuse to bail him out.

Eijji and Guddu, along with the villagers, catch hold of Panna Boss trying to steal Lallan's car and the diamond. The police intervenes at the right time to help the villagers.

The villagers are perplexed at Indu's decision of standing as the Village Chief against Bahadur Singh. Mukundi is shocked to see the villagers support Indu in her decision.

Bahadur Singh is tensed with his opponent in the election. Sugandhi tells Chukundi to write down a speech for Indu, and Salima helps Indu to prepare her speech. Indu messes up the speech, so she speaks out of her heart.

Mukundi is against Indu and lashes out at her but Sugandhi comes to rescue. The minister gets Mukundi's change of posting sanctioned, while Lapataganj is eagerly waiting to vote for Indu.

Indu's opponent tries to instigate Chotu against Indu by luring him. Mukundi avoids Indu after her big decision and tries to explain her about the dirty politics. Sugandhi's efforts to cancel Mukundi's transport brings colours.

Indu's supporters stand up for her, which is evidently more than Chotu's. Bahadur Singh plots to use bribe and bitter gourd as their means to win the election.

Indu is demeaned by Bahadur Singh, as he tries to get her in trouble and accuses Mukundi of black money. Still, Lapataganj supports them and Indu comes out with flying colours.

Indu wins the election against Bahadur Singh. Chotu gets zero votes, as he votes for Indu. Lapataganj is overjoyed in celebrating Indu's win. Mishri struggles to read the letter sent by her husband.

Mircha and Suttilal fight over payment, so Elija and Mishri intervene. Mishri wants to open the Gandhi Vidyalaya, but a stranger warns them about the place. The villagers gather to find out the mystery of this place.

After Gandhi Vidyalaya's door open, two villagers try to go inside the place at night and get thrown away by a wave of energy. Mishri attempts to find out and gets herself into trouble.

Vivek, the lawyer arrives to inform Lallan that he cannot expand his place. Mishri saves Lallan from his crisis and the villagers are in shock with her transformation. Chotu tries to find out about Mishri and gets attacked by her.

Rajjo tells the villagers about the ghost who wanted to get everyone educated. The villagers finally understand that Mishri is possessed. The villagers start studying in front of Mishri and soon enough the goons arrive in search of the sacks.

Chota Babbar interrogates the villagers about the sacks. Elija also gets possessed and teach the goons a good lesson. The villagers start getting scared of each other.

Mukundi thinks Indu is possessed when she triess teaching her children. Lallan is clueless with the ghosts and cannot sleep. Chotu sells talisman to the villagers which Mukundi opposes and Indu promises to make Bhavanis unfulfilled wishes come true.

Finally, there is a teacher for Gandhi Vidyalaya and it will reopen. The goons try to flame up the school but Bhavanis ghost prevents them. The villagers get prepared for school and their new teacher astonishes them.

Chotu tries to scheme Suttilal but they catch him red-handed, so he tells them a story about a dacoit, Jalim Singh. The arrival of the dacoits leaves the villagers in a trauma.

Chotu confronts the chief dacoit, Kroor Singh. Mishri breaks down when the dacoits take Chotu along with them, presuming his origin is from their same clan. The villagers file a report but there is still no hope.

Mishri's dream of Chotu as a dacoit keeps haunting her. When the dacoits come to take Suttilal, Mircha attacks them so the daciots carry them both back to their den.

Mircha and Suttilal prepare food for the dacoits but to their horror all food gets vanished as Mircha has all of the food. The police are unable to get them back and the dacoit chief gets irritated with Mircha.

Mirza is shocked to know Guddu's awareness. The villagers bash up Suttilal assuming him as dacoit. Suttilal acts as a middle man to inform the dacoits and they soon arrive at Mukundi's post office.

The villagers curse the spy, as the dacoits have all the information about Lapataganj now. Mircha keeps the dacoits in control with her violence. Lapataganj residents get ready to attack the dacoits as they have had enough.

The dacoits arrive and the villagers fail to stop them. Suttilal almost expresses that he is the spy. The dacoits attack PWD office and take Chaurasia from Lapataganj.

Chotu strangles Suttilal while comparing him as the spy. Lallan is devated after the dacoits loot him. The villagers get busy to find out the spy.

Elija plan to feed and get the dacoits unconcious fails miserably when Kachua has the food in their place. Mukundi realises that Suttilal calls Kroor Singh.

Suttilal reveals that he has done it all for Mircha's safety. Suttilal with the help of the villagers places bait for Kroor Singh to have Mircha back. The dacoits get to see the women power of Lapataganj but there is a twist in the story.

Elija plans to feed something and make the dacoits unconscious, but fails miserably when Kachua has the food in their place. Mukundi realizes that Suttilal calls Kroor Singh.

Chotu wants to get married to Chameli and expresses that to Mishri. Bindu pesters Lallan to think about Chameli's marriage. Finally, Chotu proposes Chameli.

Chameli accepts to marry Chotu when he falls unconcious. Lallan is still not sure about their relationship and opposes their marriage.

Chameli is heartbroken and tells Mishri about Lallans decision. Chotu requests Mukundi to convince Lallan along with Mishri. Lallan is determined so Chotu comes in front of a bike.

S01E715

Chotu makes Chameli sign the registry papers to go against Lallan. Its Pudinas birthday, Lapataganj celebrates his birthday when Chotu discusses his love for Chameli in front of Lallan.

Chotu and Lallan curse each other as they plot to ruin each others plan. Chameli is stuck as Lallan isnt leaving for office, Chotus plan fail one after another.

Chotu seeks help from Mircha so she teams up with Elija to save Chameli from Lallan patroling. Lallan somehow manages to find out Elija's pretense.

Lallan rushes outside to find Chameli and stop her from marrying Chotu. Lallan threatens the couple that he will commit suicide.

Chotu refrains from intaking any food, and only drinks black tea in an alcohol bottle. Chameli drinks the poison that Lallan was about to and realizes it is honey. Chotu and Chameli are about to get married when Mini-Chotu visits Lapataganj.

Lambodar Prasad a.k.a. Tilu comes to tell that he is Chotu's son and Chameli is devasted to see him. Mishri is excited to see her nephew in Lapataganj. Chukundi and Bhagyalaxmi befriend Tilu as he feels lonely.

Tilu plans to reunite his father with Chameli and targets to pester Chameli in various ways. Tilu befriends Chameli gradually and Chotu is excited to see them.

Chotu is sad on hearing the news of Chamelis wedding so Tilu pretends to read her hand to bring the estranged couple close again. But Chameli still avoids talking to Chotu.

Chameli goes for a movie where Lallan accompanies her, Tilu and Chotu also join them. Two strange fellows try to molest her and Chotu retaliates.

Tilu's plan fails but he finally speaks out the truth. Chotu and Tilu are about to leave Lapataganj, but on everyone's request, Lallan makes a life-changing decision.

Lallan visits Chameli to celebrate this togetherness of siblings. Bhagyalaxmi celebrates the day with Chukundi and Tilu. Chukundi gets bullied at the school and follows Tilu's suggestion.

Golu loses the challenge he put forward to Chukundi. Police arrive at school to investigate who broke the lock and Golu starts blackmailing Chukundi.

Chukundi requests Chameli to prepare halwa for Golu. But, Golu starts demanding more. So, Chukundi decides to tell everything to Mukundi.

Tilu pesters his father to get him admitted to a school. Golu and Chunnu-Munnu get punished for the same homework. Golu orders Chukundi to get a shirt for him and Chukundi requests Elija to help him out.

Chotu gives a treat to the villagers for Tilu joining the school. Chukundi is stuck as Golu and Chunnu-Munnu increase their demand on knowing that Mukundi will get a reward.

Chukundi's teacher loses his money so there is a search conducted at the classroom, revealing all the antics of Golu. Mukundi returns back home early with his reward and goes to Chukundi's school.

Mukundi struggles to manage the household chores and balances it well with office work. Indu is back and excited to see her husband and son get prizes. Chotu is missing since the morning and so Mishri loses her cool.

The voxpop says Chotu challenged Tinku, the thief to come to Lapataganj. Tinku, simultaneously accepts his challenge and arrives at Lapataganj. Alongside, Mishri, the constable also visits at the same time, and takes the information about the villagers.

Lallan shares safety tips with his neighbours as he still fears the threat from Tinku. Mishra, on the other hand takes measurement of Lallans house. Tilu starts doubting Mishras behaviour.

Tinkus robbery attempt fails at Lallans and Chotus place. Indu calls for an assembly to discuss about and gather money for Ruksanas ailment. Tinku steals the full cash amount at Elija's place.

Chotu shows the villagers a jackpot that is Tinku lying unconscious at Gandhi Vidyalaya. Mishra constable is actually Tinku thief. Chotu reveals he could catch Tinku only with Tilu's help.

The men at Lapataganj are elated to know that their wives are going for a pilgrim tour. Mukundi is upset and doesn't want Indu to go. Chotu pesters Mishri for extra money. Inspector Devidas Singh enters, who is an ardent follower of the Goddess, and a feminist.

Guddus friend, Bhimsen, Nautanki wale arrives at Lapataganj. The villagers convince Lallan to pay him and pursue Mukundi to attend the function. Devidas hears about the dancer and decides to take an action against Lapataganj.

Chotu asks help from Lallan as Inspector Devidas tries to intervene in their village function. Suttilal asks Elija to dress up as a woman once again. Lallan pretends to be a woman for saving all the men of Lapataganj.

The new Daroga appointed catches men disguised as women of Lapataganj in their absence and gives an ultimatum of 2 days to get the women back. Mamaji and his son manage to get samosa in the absence of women in town.

Mukundi and all the men of Lapataganj try to reach their wives and women who are out of town. Suttilal has a scary dream of getting beaten up by the Daroga and other policemen as the ultimatum gets closer.

People of Lapataganj are about to leave the village as the Daroga comes in time to stop them from running away from him and to arrest them. Kachua chacha manages to get the women back and rescue the men of Lapataganj.

Mukundi's coleague Mishra ji gets praised for his looks before he gets his moustache shaved and made is fun of. Meanwhile Suttilals mausaji comes in town for a visit and is angry over people without a moustache.

To impress his Mausaji Suttilal gets a fake moustache for himself. Tilu gets a fake moustache too and as a prank puts it on her buaji who unknowingly roams around in the village before being caught and so does Suttilal.

Pudina chacha decides to solve the moustache problem by taking off mausaji's moustache using a prank. Mukundi plays hide and seek with his children. Mausaji's old enemy visits Lapataganj and as revenge wants to shave the moustaches of everyone present in Lapataganj.

Suttilal tries to save Mausaji from the enemies and Indumati arrives inbetween to save Sutilal from the beating and helps save the village. Mukundi has a strange issue where his left eye doesnst stop blinking which is a sign of something bad coming his way.

Mukundi is troubled by the fact that his salary is gonna arrive a month late. Elija lost a needle and goes to Mukundi for help. Mamaji's wife is back after a long time and is upset that she was away for a long time.

Elija feels bad that Mukundi burnt his hands because of him so he decides to get him a present which makes everyone excited. Suttilal finds all his samosas to be bitten from the top and Mamaji decides to act as a detective and solve the crime.

Mamaji decides to get a cooker for himself and Kachua chacha advises him to get one with an ISI mark and writes it on his arm. The Commissioner gives the Daroga info that a spy from ISI has entered the village, and they catch Mamaji instead.

The policemen try to punish the captured Mamaji which goes wrong and end up hurting themselves. Mukundi, Kachua chacha, and Elija go to the same police station in search of Mamaji and find him.

Mamaji and Lallan have a fight and are upset with each other, so mamaji stops talking to other people as well. Indumati and co decide to end this fight and take several measures.

Indumati and Bindumati decide to haunt Mamaji and Jijaji with scary stories to resolve their fight. Indumati dresses as a witch and scares both of them off and asks them to stop fighting and come back together.

Makundi and Indumati teach their children how to write a letter and recieve one at their home from their children. Mamaji is mad at mausiji that she didn't bring Chameli along with her and Tilu.

Indumati and Bindumati compete over who has the better curtains and fight over about whose place is Chachiji going to stay over. Biji bhaiya comes to the Lapatagnj after a very long time.

Indumati and Bindumati compete again and get sofa sets for their places for whose is better. Tilu hears Biju bhaiya and blackmails him about telling Buaji everything.

Bijji Pandey astonishes every one at the tea stall with his behaviour. He uses a hundred rupee note to hold the hot cup of tea at Suthilals shop and walks away after a show stunt. Mukundi on the other hand is tensed about money. Bijji pandey trains Indumati and Bindumati to carry western clothes and walk in heels, in the Mumbai style. The villagers are surprised looking at them flaunt their new style.

Indumati and Bindumati are in competition to welcome Sudha Chachi to their respective homes. They push their husbands out of their homes so they get used to sleeping outside, while Sudha Chachi stays at home. Mausi tries to make Indumati understand that she need not fight with her sister. Indumati plans to get a dress stitched for Chachi and so does Bindumati. Busy Pandey creates confusion by pitching in details to both of them.

Sudha Chachi arrives and everyone gathers around to welcome her. Indumati and Bindumati fight yet again to keep her in their homes. Mukundi explains the reason of the fight to Sudha Chachi. Sudha Chachi reminds them of their childhood days and of the love they had for each other. The two sisters felt sorry for being envious of each other and hugged each other with love.

Busy Pandey fools Suthilal and eats everything he has prepared in the shop. While the villagers are going to punish him, his twin brother, Eji Pandey arrives in the village and tells them that he will teach them to celebrate New Years' in the city-style. The very next day, a gang of his friends reaches Lapataganj to celebrate their New Year.

The villagers are excited for the modern New Year party. They get new clothes stichted and are in prep to look the best for the New Year party. Indumati also presents a jean to Mausi for the New Year which she refuses to take and returns it back.

Villagers gather along dressed for the party, dance on bollywood numbers and welcome the New Year. The gang of boys then decide to leave for Kanpur post mid night, they are warned by mausi to grab some rest. The next morning the gang returns in an ambulance with a cop after meeting with an accident.

The villagers make the boys promise to be responsible for celebrating any occasion. Mukundi comes back home but decides to leave again. While Indumati is reminded that the water at home is over. Indumati and Bindumati are worried about the scarcity of drinking water.

The scarcity of water troubles everyone at the village. Elija looses his cool and takes a brick in hand to break the local tap. The villagers try to stop him. Suddenly, there is electricity and water supply in the village. Indumati questions the incident and party elect arrives to inform the villager that the party head is planning to visit Lapataganj.

The minister arrives to discuss the issues faced by the vilagers. Mukundi warns Indumati to not attend the discussion and to stay away from politics and politicians. She is furious about not being able to attend the discussion.

The politicians fight among themselves and create a chaos. Suthilal and his wife make many sweets and present it to the party, hoping to earn out of the discussion programme. Though the politicians lie about providing a payment and show them out.

The politicians are not interested in discussion or resolving any issues. The spend time lazing around and so a dancer is called to entertain and motivate them. The politicians enjoy the dancers performance in the tent while the villagers are fooled with an audio played of a political speech outside the tent.

The politicians create a chaos in the village and leave. The power and water supply too are disconnected as the politicians leave from the village. The villagers decide to live happily anyway with the light of their love and affcetion for each other. The serial signs off talking about the ironic life of a common man.
