Dr. McKnight tries his best to diagnose a patient who is deaf and blind. Deborah, the ER’s social worker, plays detective to track down the identity of a “John Doe”.

The full moon takes its toll on the ER as it is threatened to be overwhelmed by traumas. Dr. Shirzad treats a young ER nurse who collapses on duty, and Dr. Campbell is faced with a doctor’s most difficult decision.

Yasmin takes a Unit Coordinator-in-training under her wing as the ER's veteran social worker begins her last shift. Doctors Campbell, Shirzad and Lee mentor the next generation of ER physicians.
