Located in the heart of Korangi at District 19, DEMO Music Room is a non-profit creative hub made for musicians and artists in mind. Demo's aim is to reignite the conversation about music in Pakistan and promote our local bands, Dj's and solo musicians of all genre's. It's a creative space space that allows for experimentation, intimate gigs, live-streaming shows, and creating content that looks and sounds stellar.

BAZE is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter, and rapper based In Karachi. He's been making his music in his bedroom and is now on the road to taking his music journey to another level. We had a fun interactive session with BAZE in the DEMO MUSIC ROOM. Take a look at his musical journey and future aspirations in this video. BAZE has released quite a few originals and plans to keep spreading his unique tunes. We loved having BAZE for our DEMO discussions and cant wait to hear more of his music!

Sounds of Kolachi is a group of different vocalists and instrumentalists from Karachi, contributing to South Asian melodic tunes. They describe themselves as a "music lab" where they are open to different types of genre's and fuse them together creating a masterpiece. Sounds of Kolachi is lead by music composer and director Ahsan Bari, and consists of other talented musicians including Nimra Rafiq, Quaid Ahmed and Gul Muhmmad. Sounds of Kolachi did a very interactive podcast inside the Demo Music Room, and spoke about their unique compostions and collaborations with other musicians.

Nabihah Iqbal is a musician, producer, and DJ from London, raised in Pakistan, who recently had a lovely conversation with us about her music journey inside the DEMO music room. Nabihah also got the chance to perform her first dj set in Pakistan, and she talks about the amazing and overwhelming response she received.
