"A series based on a true story"
The series is based on real events. It takes us to Kythera from 1906 to 1909 and chronicles one of the largest mass murders the country has ever known. There, we meet the central figure of the story, Antonis, a peaceful shoemaker. A lovable young man, until he is unjustly slandered. The outcry of the local community forces him to leave. He makes a new start in Piraeus. Again, however, his attempt to escape falls on deaf ears. History repeats itself in the big city, filling Antonis with bitterness and anger. Now, there is only one way left for him: Revenge.

1. May Everyone Remember You
Antonis (Kastelanis), a talented cobbler and lyrist, lives in Kythera with his poor but proud parents. At a wedding feast, he meets Anna... and the two fall in love at first sight.
2. The Master's Advice
Kastelanis becomes the island's best cobbler. His success does not go unnoticed; besides the admiration of the people, it also sparks their envy. Tzortzis Skaleris is jealous of his good fortune and sets a âtrapâ for him â one that will become the catalyst for everything that follows.â
3. The River Doesnât Flow Backwards
Kastelanis doesnât know how to respond to Skalerisâ accusations. As the ugly rumors about him begin to spread across the island, his father suggests that he leave for Piraeus.
4. Our Own Blood
In Piraeus, Kastelanis makes a new friend and soon impresses everyone with his skill as a cobbler and his talent as a lyra player. His uncleâs wife, however, does not look kindly upon him.
5. The Hell You Know
In Piraeus, Kastelanis now makes his living as a lyricist and spends his life and money on ephemeral pleasures. Back in Kythera, a young doctor asks for Anna's hand in marriage from her father.
6. I Didnât Do the Wrong. I Corrected It.
Devastated by a new tragedy, Kastelanis asks the island's priest for help, in vain. Overwhelmed by injustice, he will be led down a path of no return.
