Birgitte Hjort Sørensen (born 16 January 1982 in Hillerød) is a Danish actress. Graduating from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2007, she began her career in theatre. She first drew attention on stage portraying Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago in Copenhagen and subsequently in London's West End.
