Hussein Alwan Al-Samarrai, born in 1927 in Baghdad, transitioned from a football career in his youth to pursuing the arts. After graduating from the Fine Arts Institute, he directed plays like "The Victim" and "Layla's Mad." In cinema, he starred in "Nadim" and co-founded Samiramis Films, producing and directing "Taswahan."
