Biography

Enrique A. Mendoza is a Guatemalan filmmaker based in Los Angeles. His shorts have moved through a range of scales and worlds, from a sci-fi romance to a Guatemalan folk horror to a desert revenge piece, but they keep returning to the same instinct: putting characters under real pressure and letting genre be the door he uses to get to them.
