Biography

Vigo Sasela is a Jakarta-based filmmaker whose work intimately explores themes of grief, coming-of-age, and social issues. Currently a student at the Jakarta Institute of Arts, he has written and directed several short films, 2026 releases Mati Ketawa (Dead Jokes) and Abigail. Beyond his independent projects, Vigo has worked in the commercial film industry since 2023 in script continuity and assistant directing roles.
