Burak Kaplan

Biography

Burak Kaplan is an award-winning film producer, academic, and film scholar. Following a bachelor’s degree in business administration, he completed his MA in Cinema-TV at Istanbul Bilgi University and his PhD in Cinema at Beykent University. While continuing his academic tenure at Istanbul Okan University's Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture since 2012 alongside his film criticism and media work, he has built an active producing career in independent cinema.
