Miryam Charles

Biography

Miryam Charles is a filmmaker and visual artist of Haitian descent based in Laval. Her practice moves between cinema and visual arts, often engaging with questions of memory, belonging, mourning, and the afterlives of historical violence. Her films have been presented at festivals throughout Québec and internationally.
