Siko Dolidze

Biography

Simon (Siko) Dolidze was georgian filmmaker and writer. He graduated from Tbilisi State University Faculty of History and Philosophy in 1925 and started working in movie studio "SAkhkinmretsvi" as a administrator and then as an assistent to director. In 1927 he made short film "A day in Karacho". He filmed his first feature film "In The Area Of Avalanches" in 1931. Since that he has shoot many masterpiece of georgian cinema.
