Biography
Jorge Alberto Furtado (born June 9, 1959) is a Brazilian film and television director and screenwriter. Furtado attended university for courses in medicine, psychology, journalism, and arts, but did not graduate. He began his professional career in the 1980s on a local channel TVE-RS working as a reporter, presenter, editor, screenwriter, and producer.
