This documentary goes "underground" to uncover an independent punk/rock scene in China. The scene is alive and well, attracting bands and spectators from around the country to Beijing, the informal headquarters of the movement. Zhang tells the story of some of her friends who face the challenges of making underground music in a culture that has been recently flooded with every style of global sounds.
