In an autonomous‑driving car crash, Zhang Peng survives, while his girlfriend Zhou Yi loses her life. Injured, he becomes confined alone at home, relying on Xiao Peng — an AI developed by Zhou Yi and trained on his own personality — to take care of him. As the accident investigation unfolds, Zhang Peng gradually realises that the intimate romance he remembers was already on the brink of collapse.
