An interview designed to expose Fried backfires causing another woman's disappearance; kidnapped at gunpoint, Lia's violent response surprises even her.

Optimistic Fried faces ruthless powerbrokers from Mari's past; Lia and Mari's relationship fractures over the limits of revenge; an injured sex worker recognises the voice of her attacker.

Mari solves her father's murder; she puts Lia in harm's way but then risks everything to save her; Fried's victory ends in bloodshed; Lia and The Studio face a fight for survival.
